I really like the idea of Korra learning to bend fire first...and it makes total sense, too. I also really like the introspection, since Korra (at least, in the episodes I've seen, which is admittedly not that many) isn't really an introspective heroine.

This is my first Korra fanfic that I have ever read, and it is simply amazing. I've watched the entire Avatar saga, so the LoK series was something new to evaluate. From the first episode, I had a feeling fire bending was her strongest element, despite being born in the Water Tribe. The analogies you wrote were really beautiful, and also the narration. I hope you wrote fom fanfics for the show :)
