this book is amazing.

This is a wonderful piece of fan fiction. I may have been late to the party in regards to finding it but I'm glad I stumbled across it. Your work is truly wonderful. It's sometimes hard to find good fics with Megatron as an up front main character, yours is by far my favorite of all the ones I have come across so far. :) I noticed you said you have an Archive Of Our Own Account? Will you possibly be posting this story on there as well? I know a lot of users over there that would absolutely love to read a story like this one.

It is difficult to write something so dark so well. I applaud you for the except story and characterizations.

First time reading this ship, and it is AWESOME! Although i agree with Nevermore's review about Megatron being kinder to slaves due to his origins. Either way, please do keep up the good work.

Okay, first. I would like the link for the AO3 account. Second. I would like to see a parody/spinoff of this on here. One where there is less, ehm, 'ravishing' per say.
I am a big fan of the ship, though the story is really good and one of the only Miko x Megatron(Or Rebellion as I call the ship) stories on here. I don't like the abusive part, while I do get why people see (And you write Megatron) as a abusive, multiplicative perv. I -personally- think Megatron would be the opposite. Since he was a slave, and slaves would have gotten the same treatment as Miko does. So, personal belief.

I do believe Megatron would be a 'eccentric' lover, a gentlemen in the streets and warlord in the sheets, wink wink, nudge nudge.
So that 'spin off' would follow the story line. But less assault and abuse on Megatron's behave and more of a dark, forbidden love part. While Bulk would -maybe- become a jealous crush. Optimus could perhaps become a Lord Frodo(Hunch back of notre dam) type. Why would he be like that? SIMPLE! Optimus is a Prime, obviously, and Prime's are supposed to fight against Unicorn and all his creation's. Encluding humans. Since they are creations of Unicron as Knockout pointed out. So yeah...

Of course, as much smut as this has. Also I feel like in that version Soundwave would take care of Miko, not Vehicons. IDK.

But now for the actual story! As I said, I liked it. Miko is written well, she stays true to her character. Though I would have liked a few more mentions of Japan and her culture aswell as family( Chi-Chi and Ding Dong mostly). Also I have to agree with the reason of the abortion. First, medical reasons for Miko. Her body has been through enough stress and might become undone competely. Plus a she would have to consume energon for the babys Cybertronian half which is deadly. Nevertheless I would like to point out that the baby would have died anyway. For its spark to grow, it would have to feed off the mothers spark and energon, Miko does not have a spark and cannot consume energon. So it would have miscarried anyway.

I like the pacing in the story and the way you describe Miko's thoughts and her feelings. It is quite realistic and also so descriptive which I love. While I do have a few nits to pick.

The tattoo part of the storyline just seems, odd. You never properly explain why Megatron gets pissed over it. So I have to wonder, since technically Knockout has a Cybertronian equivalent of tattos(His arm paintjob) and seeing how Megatron was going to get Miko a new body(The protoforme) anyway.

The techno-organic child arc was abit to quick for such an odd, deep/dark and interesting subject and story arc. There is also no mention of Miko's childhood and life back at Japan, which would have been a good addition to the baby arc.

Why do I focus on Miko's childhood so much? Simple, Miko only mentions her two cats in a fond way in the show. Which suggests she does not see her parents in such a happy way. That could also been a cool additon, she also does not mention any friends. And seems to dislike the idea of returning to school back in Japan. Almost wanting to block out the memory of her country in the show.

I could see a few reasons way, the standard for women in Japan is quite harsh, in a way which Miko would have been against. And bullying in Japan is at a high rate, and the bullying is brutal there. So, the addition of why Miko was so keen on America and not so keen of even mentioning Japan could have been interesting.

But I still like the story, one of my favourite on here. One last thought is that, you should not abandon the story. I cannot find a link to your AO3 account, so I assume not a lot of people could either. And I would very much like a continuation of this story.

But it is, nevertheless one of my favourite on here.
