I hadn't read this before, so I'm reading it after having seen all through the end of season 6... It's strikingly similar to the end of season 5!? Amazing. And how wonderful to imagine this, that they managed to get together way back in 1914, TEN YEARS earlier. Oof, These two.

Aww, this was so sweet. I will admit I was a bit worried that they'd have the misunderstanding go on and then there would be all sort of unhappiness until it was resolved. Thank you for not putting me through that torture. I could see it all playing out beautifully in my mind. I love that the first time they kissed was after she'd accepted his proposal. Too cute!

This is beautiful and exactly what I needed to read at this moment! I loved their moment of misunderstanding. They are usually at such a lockstep that of course they each thought they knew what the other meant!
