This was awesome! But a bit of a cliff hanger. Are they gonna be hunted down now? What's gonna happen to them?

DS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A PORN WITHOUT PLOT? WHA-?! YOU PEOPLE MANAGED TO CONVERT DS FROM A PWP TO A REAL STORY?! ds plot was one of the coolest I ever read! Gosh! I had understood the theme and the storyline even before you explained it properly in the author's notes...I really didn't need that but I guess it's helping a lot of other people so thanks for that either ways.
What I liked the most was how you started the story right from Artie's confused state of mind to his escapade from his den & the other dangers the animals are normally exposed to in the forest till Alfie's sudden remembrance of their earlier life...each & every details was crafted with great skills & handled cleverly.
I generally don't whine for sequels but in ds case it would really be nice if put up another spin-off explaining what happened with Mattie.

Really... you guys managed to turn a pwp into THIS? I am currently in awe. Thank you for the explanation, it was much needed by my confused little brain, but now I'm not sure whether I would like a sequel to this or not, because this works so well as a stand alone. Could you possible do a side piece on how they got Matthew to remember his human self? Or maybe how Matthew came to be there with them in the first place?

PS. 'We believe he is trying to make what he remembers as tea.' Best line in the whole piece. Glad to know that even as a rabbit-human hybrid my country still has his priorities in the right place.

Awesome story! Good plot, and I liked the scientist's report at the end. I wish it was longer! I want to know what happens (although I'm assuming Arthur and Al were killed), and it would be nice to know if Mattie ever regains his memory. Overall, great story!

Geez, it's sick how people experiment on other people when they don't want it.
I'm curious if the two make it out of the forest and what they will do if they get that far.
(They have tails and animal ears! How are you going to explain that to other people XD)
I really liked the fic. though it makes me a little jealous. I want cat ears and a beautiful tail,
but only if other humans get animal traits as well, because it would be embarrasing otherwise.

What I don't get is what do they mean by Arthur and Alfred recovering. As in, they regained all their memories only or they manage to reverse the effects of the DNA and they went back to normal? And is the 'terminate' for the project?

You really need to make a sequel! This is a fantastic story, and I need to know if Al and Arthur are killed, if Matthew tried to killed Arthur, Gaaaaahhhh!
