Guest chapter 1 . 2/15 Amazing story about an unpopular character. I love Percy and I'm glad you do him justice. |
Guest chapter 1 . 1/28 i love it! Good story with strong message! Thanks for writing and thanks for letting other people to read it! |
Guest chapter 1 . 12/26/2019 Aw, really sweet. |
Guest chapter 1 . 7/22/2019 i like it until you had james be a douche fo no reason except tu build up lucy. the fandom hates james enough already, why fall into it? why the f would harry and ginny raise a child like that efter the way they were treated themselves, and why is it always james who is the one who gets all the hate? albus is insuffurable in the cursed child yet everyone falls over his feet for him i have never been in a fandom that hates a child for no damn reason except for the fact that he teased his little brother one time, wish you all would ty to be a little more nuanced and use your heads. btw, if you want to portray james sirius potter as a carbon copy of his grandfather, remember that he was one of the most talented wizards in the school, was loved by so many despite his flaws beacuse he was a genuinly good person and that snape was just as big of an asshole to james as james was to snape. it's disgusting the way this fandom writes jsp tbfh |
AilingStar chapter 1 . 4/6/2019 I can't say anything other than brilliant. |
Hisana-Kubi chapter 1 . 3/17/2019 That was a great fic ! I love your building of Lucy's character and it's interesting to see how people would perceive Percy's children, as Percy was seen as a dull guy and not really your hero. I feel like your James was a massive ass, but I can actually see it happening, if he was enabled by his head of house and is a bratty teenager, it makes sense. You see this kind of behavior in real life a lot too. In conclusion, it was a great character based fic centered on characters that really weren't developed in canon and that you managed to make your own :) congrats and thanks for writing this |
OneDocToHealThemAll chapter 1 . 3/16/2019 Nice little story. I can actually see James being a complete dickhead. |
UnluckyAmulet chapter 1 . 11/15/2018 So I absolutely love this story. Harry Potter NextGens are something I find quite interesting, though it's not always executed in the best way. This was such an interesting idea to explore - the overlooked daughter of the overlooked son, their relationship and just overall this was a great family piece. The relationship between Percy and Lucy was just so natural and really enjoyable and sweet, I really am impressed with how you managed to make their relationship both relatable and pleasant to read about. Even after Percy switches on his allegiances mid-series, I always used to feel kind of sorry for him, being so different from the rest of his family and honestly never getting much respect for it. It's interesting to see that the pattern repeats with Lucy, albeit in a different way. I have to admit I thought some of James's dialogue was a bit heavy-handed when he was insulting his cousins, but since I can also definitely see the child of the hero of the Wizarding World basically taking on all of his grandfather's worst traits, it's a small detail that's easy to understand. I also thought it was a fun detail that Lucy is still a Gryffindor despite being nothing like her cousins, yet she still displays such a typical Gryffindor attitude when it comes to something that's important to her, which was a really nice touch. You don't have to be loud and bombastic to be brave, after all. It's nice to see Lucy realise she doesn't have to be flashy or reckless to matter. Really glad I found this, keep up the good work! ~Amulet |
spiralheads chapter 1 . 10/4/2018 this was so beautiful and sweet. i always love stories that show appreciation for percy and i havebt actually read a story about lucy so that was so nice. lucy was really well written and the relationship between her and her father warmed my heart. |
Anon chapter 1 . 7/8/2018 I rarely review, but... Lucy is me. To other people I'm the quiet one, shy and awkward, but there come times when I explode and pull a Weasley, so to say. I love this fic. You're an awesome writer, you know- you should consider publishing. I, for one, would buy your books. PS I love how you made James seem like an arrogant pick like his grandfather. It makes him seem more real. |
Fire and Ice chapter 1 . 6/21/2018 Question: how does Professor Digby know what a pediatrician is? |
Sylvia chapter 1 . 4/12/2018 I’m bad at reviews but that was really great you are really good at writing and I liked it a how it talked about how people with not as exiting jobs make the people with more exiting jobs possible because that’s something I have thought about before also I never really liked James and I’m glad about what happened to him |
OwlSAndRoses chapter 1 . 12/25/2017 Hello Realmer, As a PhD student doing basic (non-flashy, to borrow Luce and Perce’s word) research, I found Lucy’s character and passion rather admirable. Thank you for writing this enjoyable and thoughtful fic. It is great to see Lucy not only recognising that the things Percy does is ‘non-flashy’ and accept it, she actually sees their importance and has a passion for them too! |
DragonPrincess38 chapter 1 . 10/4/2017 Like other reviewers have said: This is a therapy story for introverted people. Thank you for writing this story and making me a fan of Lucy Weasley. |
