kane alexis chapter 1 . 3/30/2019 I haven't been this haunted by a piece of writing since I put down my copy if Narnia. Your words are like something I can reach out and hide in myself for the cold days. It's simply beautiful. I'm in love with your words. |
Orion Hunts chapter 6 . 6/17/2016 Dean is such an ass, but I love how Sam and Cas made each other strong again and exchanged comfort. This was an extremely adorable one-shot series. 3 |
Guest chapter 6 . 1/15/2016 wow. this was amazing. loved it. thanks for writing. |
daily-chan chapter 6 . 9/26/2014 Loved it so much! I would have loved to see it continue to after the Cage, to Castiel's action with Sam in the hospital. This story would have been a brilliant backstory for that...loved it! |
MomotsukiNezumi chapter 1 . 6/8/2014 Ok, I'll admit, I got kind of teary-eyed reading this...and to think, it's only the first chapter. Poor Sam...Castiel really was wonderful in this, though. Sometimes a good hug and the assurance that even with the odds stacked against you, someone is there to listen, to comfort, and to catch you when you fall is all you need to get back on your feet, if not back into the ring of life. Dean's "bloodsucking freak" comment made my eyes sting a bit, though. That was mean, even if was brought about by a good deal of booze. |
shotgunequalssammy chapter 6 . 2/24/2014 Let me just tell you that you write the most adorable Sastiel stories and I enjoy reading them! :) Really, I love you exploring their relationship like this - it's so sweet and has that fluffy touch of innocence and I'm squealing happily as I read about it. |
ladygreytowers chapter 6 . 9/4/2013 I love what you have done with this. I have also felt that if given the chance Sam and Castiel would have become more for each other than just aquaintances. Thank you for exploring this in your really great stories. |
Niendil chapter 6 . 8/7/2013 This collection was really nice! I enjoyed each one shot as an individual and the whoke collection as a set. Very well done. I liked seeing a bit of Sam as a little brother too. It is not always as addresses in the show as I like. And of course I love nurturing Cas. So sweet and kind and warm. |
Niendil chapter 3 . 8/7/2013 Squeeeeeeeeeee! Cas is killer sweet here! So helpful! So kind! |
Niendil chapter 1 . 8/7/2013 I loved this! Sam needs Cas too! I look forward to the other chapters! |
KatZenSPN chapter 6 . 7/25/2012 Oh my goodness. I am so touched by these stories. You write them beautifully, with a subtlety and lyricism that's not often found in fan fiction. Your diction creates an atmosphere that allows your readers to feel what Sam is feeling, and with the depth of emotion that Sam experiences during the show and in these stories, that is a feat. Thank you for sharing this story with us. I will definitely be checking out the rest of your work. |
The Mome Raths Outgrabe chapter 6 . 6/22/2012 I wish Sam and Cas were really this close, very touching how Castiel was always there for him giving him peace. I liked it a lot |
T.L. Arens chapter 6 . 6/15/2012 *plucks a tissue* Dean going to hell was awful and sad. But Sam going to hell was tragedy in its purest form. I actually thought of Sam as a tragic hero and looked up the definition and found that he is not-which is a good thing, really. Still, Sam leads a sad and hard life. The very nature of his character commands love in its purest form; it's honest and unwavering. I find it frustrating and sad that the angels held only disdain for Sam; to the point of contempt, even though like Dean, he was following a script THEY wrote. I'm glad you've decided not to do Season 6; Castiel's good intentions led him to murder two of his own friends and later on, thousands of humans and angels alike. His adverse treatment of Sam broke my heart. It makes me glad that when I wrote my own version of a post-Swan Song story, it did not include Castiel's utter betrayal. Thank you soooooo much for this little series. |
T.L. Arens chapter 5 . 6/15/2012 *shivers* I felt all of that, every line and motion, the air and heard the sounds. Best of all, I found myself completely in Sam's shoes and I felt Castiel's embrace and wow... it makes me wish all stories were this vivid, this well written; like I'm really there. It makes me sad that there are only 6 chapters here. :) |
Finn chapter 3 . 6/10/2012 You write with amazing insight and detail, to the point where I can imagine myself being there and feeling what Sam is feeling while I'm reading. Not many people give Sam sympathy or acknowledge that he really is a good person, so I love that I found this story. One critique I would like to give though, not to be hateful or put you down, is that you do go into detail a wee bit too often. In this chapter you described the headlights from cars and the sounds in the rooms more times than necessary. But that's just me - anyway, keep up the good work! |
