Very depressing, but beautiful. It progresses so naturally and I completely understand Dean's viewpoint at the end of it. Really great!

AAAAAH. THIS IS SO HORRIBLE AND WONDERFUL ALL AT ONCE.
I can't even imagine being trapped with ONE PERSON for the rest of eternity. OF COURSE Dean wouldn't keep hating Lucifer forever, OF COURSE he'd hate himself for not hating him anymore, OF COURSE he'd long for Sam with a deep ache that would never go away! It's just so, SO HUGE. Something like this that's bigger than humanity just makes my brain hurt.
This is beautiful! great job writing it! I absolutely love it, even if it kinda makes my heart ache.
I feel like this would fit perfectly with the Croatoan-infested world that Dean glimpsed in the future in Season 5... This is my new head-canon of that alternate universe.

That... was amazing. So very dark and not quite sad enough to make you cry. Gave me the chills just picturing that kind of fate for Dean, and the world as well. Beautiful and terrifying at the same time.
