Hetc chapter 18 . 5/30 I thoroughly enjoyed the Wizengamot scene - nicely done. Thanks for writing. |
Hetc chapter 14 . 5/30 I'm so pleased that poor ghost Snape has some simple pleasures after being trapped in a coffin with his corpse. |
Hetc chapter 10 . 5/30 I didn't get the jobberknoll parallel. Thanks for that |
Hetc chapter 3 . 5/29 Bundimuns and bowtruckles! And Hagrid's right. T ain't every wizard who'd be good enough to hex a boy's ears. ( Reminiscent of Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg ) |
Hetc chapter 1 . 5/29 Latimer and Cranmer... I like Gillian and Hugh. |
LastScorpion chapter 18 . 5/20 Lovely story - very entertaining! Thank you for writing & posting. |
SkyBluu chapter 13 . 10/5/2019 The conversation (the one with Snape present) about the upcoming exhumation and burials has a feel of parody. I laughed a lot. I like that you incorporated the eclipse of 1999 into the story. I travelled to another country to see the full one (it couldn't be seen from my own), it was a big event. |
SkyBluu chapter 6 . 10/5/2019 I can't recall Harry being bossy, neither in the books nor in your story. |
SkyBluu chapter 3 . 10/5/2019 This made me laugh: "Under normal circumstances, it would take some powerfull spells before one department of the Ministry of Magic started talking to another." It reminds me of the authorities in my country :-D. |
SkyBluu chapter 2 . 10/5/2019 Thank you for liken potion brewing to pharmacy. People usually liken it to chemistry but pharmacy is much more fitting. |
SkyBluu chapter 1 . 10/5/2019 Ginny is both in this chapter and in the prequel insufferably and pitifully jealous. |
cloudshape to ennien chapter 4 . 3/23/2019 This story was recommended in another Author's profile. That's how I found it. And what a treasure it is. While I do not agree with some of the things (like I doubt, that the muggles in the village would really accept magic so easily, I also doubt Harry and Severus would be so blaze about showing magic in front of them), I can easily overlook those things, because your writing is fantastic. There is such a wonderful flow to your storytelling. There is humor, heartbreak, tragedy, friendship and what not. This story deserves so much more recognition, than what it's got. I can't help but wonder, why there are not several hundred reviews. And I have the impression there may be a prequel. But for now, I will indulge in this story for the next few days and then I will look, whether there is more. Good work. |
BlueWater5 chapter 14 . 9/8/2018 "Discrimination against the living ..." - one of the best lines ever! |
junephillips625 chapter 18 . 4/26/2018 Wonderful story, I love your writing. You incorporate British history, customs in rural areas, and folklore. As an American with roots in Manchester, it gives me great pleasure. You include psychology, including ideas about the mind, personality, and consciousness. I leave the story both satisfied in its completion but curious about unanswered questions about the future of cloned and ghost Severus Snape. What could be better? Much wishes for continued success in your writing snd in your life. |
junephillips625 chapter 9 . 4/24/2018 I love the mystery of magical creatures, a muggle with some magical ability, and a spontaneous apple orchid. Also, the nature of cloned Snape, the fact that his mind/peronality/soul and body separate so easily, the sour personality of the sprite, and the loss of occlumency. Finally, the interactiin of muggles and magic in the lives of muggleborns and halfbloods. We saw this in the series with the Dursleys. The statute of secrecy is almost a joke. I also like the expanding social network of Snape. When you remive the incredible stressors from his old life, he can actually socialize. I am interested in where you will take all of the mysteries you have created. Great job. I have to force myself away again. One question, why does Voldy's purple soulstone have to be in Snape's house? Doesn't he have enough problems just staying in tact? |
