Lovely story!

I love how the protagonists are so realistic. They never did the things a protagonist should do, rather what a person with imperfect character and bias and insecurities would do. I was really able to appreciate Clara's struggles. Great job!

This girl so dumb why did you just take it

I feel like squealing. This was a very, VERY well done story.

To begin with: Clara. She's a brilliantly done character. I was impressed from the beginning by her goodness and purity and trust in others and somehow NOT being irritatingly perfect. You really pulled off Cinderella (basically a perfect person).

I struggle a bit with Ian because his dark side does not work well with his good side. They simply don't seem to be the same. But his good side was actually very good, and I'm willing to ignore a bit of a rough beginning and end.

But back to the positive. I thought Bran was impeccably done! When she first went to the ball and spent the evening with him, I was utterly charmed. I honestly couldn't imagine how I as a reader was supposed to still like Ian by the end when Bran was so...well, wonderful. But you pulled it off brilliantly, giving him fatally repulsive flaws (like selfishness and a temper) that allowed me to continue to enjoy him but also create some emotional distance between the reader and him to make it easier for the reader to stay connected to Ian.

Anyways. It was heartwarming and wonderful. I couldn't stop reading it once I started. A

Ugh! At least in the movie of Cinderella the dad didn't just stand by and watch his kid get mistreated! Her dad is a coward :( but the portrayal is actual pretty darn true to life.

Aww this story is so cute! I loved it. When Ian disappeared i was crying. I was so sad that he left): but this story was very well-written. And sont worry the story for Ians past was good. Hehe! Good job! I loved the ending i was crying by how cute it was.

Is it bad that I almost started laughing from how naïve that statement about people not lying to the ones they love was? … my English teacher was right. I am jaded.

There's a few mistake in some of the chapters, in the dialogue, not your writing. Too lazy to go through it again and tell you which, and I was too suck up on the story. But I love how you developed your characters. Especially Ian and Clara. Though these fics are not my type, I might have to fav it. Yes, it's that good. Really good. Truly good. The characters are what makes this story good.
