Jane was clever in not going up with Maura so she could get ready for the club. She would then not be a witness to Maura using coke, it gives her plausible deniability.

Nobody can blame Maura for using here, as far as I am concerned. If anybody does, they do not have a strong enough imagination to put themselves in Maura's shoes here.
