That was truly something. Awwww. Lily and James! That was so heart-warming and sweet and realistic and aargh. There's so much that is JUST SO PERFECT ABOUT THIS STORY.
It's truly brilliant. Will be remembering this one for a long time.

That is an amazing first chapter!
It's nice to see James desesperate and Lily trying to conforte him (it's so often the opposite...)
James is so touching! Actually, I'm convinced he's afraid about not seeing Lily after Hogwarts. Hope Lily gets that part too.
Any way, Lily's going to think really hard about what she knows about him.
And I'm looking forward the happy end that I'm guessing ;) (That's why we love Jily, isn't it? It always ends well :D)

Okay, so actually, maybe this one was my favorite.
Haha. I'm quite the indecisive type of person.
Anyway.
What I liked about this one, is how little things can just break through the wall of Lily's prejudices. And if James's confessions change Lily's mind, so easily, it's just because deep inside, she always knew he was this amazing person she discovers he was.
Besides, I think that she always knew that what James said to her when she left his dormitory was true.
He always knew she was the one, even when she didn't acknowledge it. And just because of that, he could never lose her.
(Does this makes sense to anyone but me ?)

This two shot is one of my favorite James/Lily stories that you have done. I am still amazed by it.

This was brilliant, the chapters were perfect partners. It makes me a little sad that they didn't figure it out and get together until the very end but you made it work well. I'm glad you address Lily not really having any concerns. I felt like though she might not be as worried she surely couldn't be so naive to not think about how her situation might be difficult after leaving school. And though I don't necessarily think she would have to fight wouldn't she feel connected to that fight in some way because of her heritage.
I loved your language and your writing in this and ESP the way you finally teased it all out and got them there in the end!

Ahhh so delighted to find this has two parts! It was so deep and fabulous and beautifully written and heartfelt but would feel unfinished without another part
