Dick actually stated in a comic before the 2000s that his family or grandparents came from england as evidence with Mary and Harriet on of dick's aunts in which is probably not canon anymore. but his whole family has angolised names even his father john.

not trying to be rude, dick is not romani. he was briefly in 2002 but devin grayson was so racist about it and dick didn't even know till he was in his 20s anyways so he grew up in an american circus.

Thanks for writing this story I really enjoyed it. My favorite parts of the story were Bruce’s and Batman’s conversations with the justice league and the way the league reacted to Bruce and Batman. I also loved the part when Dick hacked the school system to have Peach Ice Cream on the side instead of green beans. I especially loved the idea of Dick writing letters to his parents about his life and the adventures him and Bruce have as Batman and Robin. I especially loved the way on how you told the story of his first fight in the letter he wrote to his parents. You did an amazing job writing this story and keeping everyone in character. I smiled when Dick used the word “whelmed” because it reminded me of the Young Justice series and I loved that series and Robin because of his made up words, I find them to be hilarious. Keep up the great work you are very talented!

Okay, 17 chapters is certainly not short, buuuuuut time run faster when you enjoy it, ain't they?
This story is really cutee xD, and warm, and cool, well..I was a bit sad you didn't get Dick to meet the League as robin, but overall pre-robin thing made a nice excuse of that :)
Still...i was confused about robin's age, because it kept changing.
He was 6 when his parents are killed, and 7 when he found the batcave, but suddenly he is 8 eventhough he just had his birthday? and he's 9 when he started, okay...but shouldn't he like..still 8? cause he just trained for a few months, right?

Well, these certainly not stopping me from loving this very much tho
