I got so hooked on this story, it's not even funny. I could totally see this happening to these two xD I miss the Brood! Amazing story! Keep it up!

This was soo long ago but I hope you end up continuing this story! It's soooo good! And I need to find out what happens! LOL! D

This story is surprisingly interesting...

This was like running into an old freind somewhere you never expected to see them! I first read this at the Velvet Rainbow (and reread it. And reread it again, i didn't think it was archived here. What a nice surprise!

When E&C first broke off from the brood, I thought to myself, 'well, they can always reunite.' Years passed, they turned heel, made me laugh week after week, and still, rumours persisted, and I kept idiotically hoping for a Brood revival.

The Devil's Due put in writing everything I hoped for, and what's more, it exceeded any expectations I might have had.

Christian was always my favourite wrestler (until the writers killed it and head-shavings became mandatory), and in this story, you captured his character so amazingly convincingly. I liked him as the silent, skinny, pretty Brood affiliate, and I liked him even more as the smartmouted, funny, arrogant half of E&C. But I have to admit, there semmed to be no correlation between the two gimmics. You were able to get behind the psycology of what turned someone so quiet and shy, into someone so cocky and arrogant. And you made me believe this is how it happened; you gave him insecurities, and you gave all three an incredible and involving backstory. And you took the vampire thing and you ran with it, to spectacular effect!

Edge also showed some beautifully crafted characterisation. He has flaws, just like Christian, and his flaws result in a plot that's hard to rival. I like that you dig beneath the surface of these two. Beneath Edge's laid back surfer boy attitude, and his apparant disinterest in his brother, is someone who cares, and a sometime coward (but not without reason). Christian's veneer protects a scared little boy. I loved the way their relationship progressed throughout the fic; from apparant dislike, to an eventual solid bond between the two brothers.

But the real high point of reading Devil's Due for me has without a doubt always been the humour. The chapter with Christian flying around like an idiot, and professing his desire for a hamster cape, literally had me laughing like a lunatic. Same goes for the K-Mart scene.

But the most welcome surprise was Gangrel. Most people barely remember him (I remember him as one hell of a wrestler with a face like the back end of a bus), let alone portray him in a way that does him justice. I loved everything about him; the amused, mysterious badass, the long-suffering mentor, and especially the Martha Stewart aspect of his personality.

And I'm going to be late for work if I keep this up, so suffice it to say that Devil's Due is by far and away, one of the finest pieces of fanfiction to be found in this fandom. I understand why you don't seem to write in the fandom anymore, but I wish you would.

Aww! Poor Christian! Please update soon, this can't be a dead fic, it's way too good! I think Gangrel is great in this fic, as is Edge, and Christian...in fat the whole story is just briliant! Next chapter really soon, please, I wanna see Gangrel kick Rachels butt! :)

"Dracula is not amused and he vants to suck your blood"! Haha, that was great! I literally had to stop myself from chocking on a toffee when I read that bit, I was laughing so much! Anyway, great story, I'll be sure to read the rest tomorrow! (I would read it now, but my parents say they want me off the computer because they're fed up of me laughing and crying at every bit of this story...spoil sports...)

This is a totally amazing story! I don't have time to read it all now, but I will read the rest as soon as possible, I couldn't bear not to know how it ends! Edge is my fave wrestler, and I also used to like Gangrel when he was in the business, so it's great you did a story about them. It's also cool how you got Christian in this, cos I miss the days when they were a tagteam! anyway, the end of chapter 3 is so sweet and touching, a brilliant addition to the story! Aww, little Chris and his big bro...that was so sweet! Nice story, can't wait to read the rest and any future chapters you may put up! :) This is the best wrestling fic I have read so far! Oh yeah, the beginning bit was hilarious btw! Really made me laugh! -
