Oh, this goes straight into my favourites. I loved it. Robert's concern at Cora's bedside and his realisation at the very end, soothing my injured Cobert fan heart after Jane. ;-)

The look back on their relationship was wonderful! Loved to see Cora on her home ground as it were, especially with Robert looking on in wonder.

I absolutely adore this. I love the beginning, with Robert standing vigil by his wife's bedside and refusing to believe that she might not wake up.

The flashback scene was lovely. I really liked how you painted it at the beginning, with Cora's endearing enthusiasm almost making her break the precious china and Robert realising that he needs her more than she needs him. I also like the way that Robert laments the lost innocence of his young wife and his wariness of her character.

The trip to New York was also great. It was nice to see Cora opening up there in her homeland and the way that they find each other there.

And, finally, the ending is just beautiful and makes my heart break for all that they have been through. Rosamund is very, very right.
