so excuse the influx of reviews i've been sending in. your stories are just mindblowingly perfect. every character that i love and cherish with all my heart, you write so well.

this was just, too perfect. and i've said that so many times. but THIS.

from the interaction with peeta, to the grief that he holds; gale is in character to the end.

the interaction with the food is wonderful. they dont hate each other, but they aren't quite friends. you make that stand out so well, with subtle details. though he loves katniss, he's not going to fight. that's probably one of the best ways you wrote him as you justified it in the way that he realizes its not going to happen. but that doesn't mean he stopped loving her.

you didn't write this to be an angsty, oh woe is gale story, though. you wrote it to be somewhat cute with the peeta/gale interaction, and somewhat bittersweet with the gale/katniss interaction.

there are too many lines to pick out that i absolutely loved, so i can't choose any without copying and pasting the entire fic, but wow it was wonderful.

i don't know why i expected any less after reading your other stories. wonderful job.

Brilliant. I was on the fence for mosta the series, Peeta irritated me in the same way Edward and Bella did at times. But in the end he was the one who would never stop coming back for her. I think he ended up being who she needed, not who she wanted (Gale). This story was prefect to tie things up! I didn't like that they had no closure for Gale's character really... I guess there was no going back after they made him the architect of the bombs. *le sigh

This is really great! It perfectly fits the feeling of the ending of the series. Things could never go back to the way they were after all of the traumatic events, and I think you've captured the way things really would have gone for them. I was left with a feeling of emptiness at the epilogue and have been looking to fill that hole through fanfiction. Thanks for a satisfying, true to the character and well written interpretation of the end of their friendship. :)

This is great. I kind of have a soft spot for Gale/Katniss, even though Peeta/Katniss had been kind of obvious from the beginning. And yes, I think you did do a good job of giving them some closure. I always did feel like the book's ending left some things unresolved.

I love this portrayal of them! I am a Peeta fan all the way, but I think this is a beautiful and very fitting end for these two.

This was great. I've read quite a few fan fictions about Gale after Mockingjay, but this is the only one that is believable to me. I loved it.

Very well written, I am glad that someone gave them the closure they deserved.
