Wow what a story. Original idea and beautiful executed. A pleasure to read with a happy ending. All good that ends well. Picard gets his family and heir for the Picard estate/family line/ name. Beverly faces her fear and finds her love. Thank you for writing and sharing.

Your writing is wonderful and full of emotion. All your details made the Star Trek universe, New Hebetia XII, and the characters (both new and old) really come alive for me. There were a few typos here and there, but nothing too serious.

I appreciated how you were able to take a single change, "There are five lights!" and from that develop a completely different, yet logical alternative reality for Picard. The conspiracy he found himself in, and his tough decision weighing duty versus personal freedom, made the plot of this story really stand out.

I always enjoyed the two part episode Chain of Command, and I love what you did with that story line.

This is very well written. I enjoyed reading it immensely and wish there was more writing of this calibre out there. I do always wonder how far both the events with the Cardassians and the Borg had on Picard at a deeper level. Well written.
