Another perfect ending to another perfect story. I believe that this is now my favorite. So true to my fave two characters, to all of the characters, but especially my B&B. This was an emotional roller coaster ride. It had everything, but the intensity of the emotions in this one was overwhelming. Girlfriend, you were blessed with an amazing gift. I know you're not writing Bones any more, and that's definitely a loss for us FF readers, but I hope you're writing something. I would love the Bones powers that be to read this story in order to deal with the story line that's occurring on the show now, cuz I want them to realize that this is why I watch this show. For this right here. Kudos on another story well done:)

This was such a great chapter. It had everything. The humor that is Caroline...he's going to owe her big time. Fear, that the FBI may dissolve their partnership. Passion...the hot, sensual sex they had when they returned home... Rated high on the M meter,btw. Angst in the dream she had at the thought of losing him. Comfort, trust, & love in the way that he could read how much she needed him & complied with her plea for him to make love to her, to reassure, & protect her. The connection they shared here was intense & beautiful. This chapters was true B&B baby. You are absolutely amazing!

So yeah, they're communicating, compromising, & re-establishing their trust in one another. And now we get Caroline. I love her & the relationship she & Booth share. She is definitely a B&B shipper. God love her:)

I think after all these years, your interpretation of what happened between them that night at the Hoover is the one that finally makes sense to me. Thanks so much for that:). I thought this was going to be one of those proverbial bumps, but they managed to navigate over it. Thank God:)

Ahhhh, first time fast & perfect in T land. Next time I'm hoping for slow & sensual in M land. I hope they make it there without the proverbial bumps in the road, because they still have issues to discuss?

A fresh start sounds good. A beginning in order to solidify the faulty center that must hold. I like it.

Well, I thought I wasn't going to like Dan, but I do. And they were right. This has gotten extremely messy. And, Booth never "forgot it"...he just learned to compartmentalize from the best at compartmentalizing. That chapter was a big ouch:(

I love the Booth/Cam friendship. She doesn't hold back the punches. I wish we got more of that on the show. Poor Booth. My people person has fallen down that proverbial rabbit hole, while Brennan seems to be adapting, or at least surviving a bit better than Booth at the moment.

Ok, enough of this Hannah person! lets move on to Booth getting his act together...quickly!

I do agree Booth was just as scared of the intensity of his feelings as Brennan. He knew she was the one- but to actually believe this is the only one for you is a scary thing.

I remember reading someone suggest that Booth was with Hannah out of fear. To try to convince himself he wasn't permanently tied to Brennan. She was a wall he used. The more he felt for Brennan the harder he clung to Hannah. While I hate the proposal I do think it shows how much of a sham that relationship was.

The scene in Glowing bones- Hodgins talks to Booth about how if it is right- marriage isn't necessary to build a life together. No matter how hard he tried it was never right with Hannah. It was always right with Brennan which is why he was always able to keep her in his life even without a typical label of a relationship.

Ah that makes sense- Hannah was Booth's Maluku.

Personally, Booth threw himself into that relationship to prove that he was over Brennan but it was never real. Booth was displaying a cheeriness that wasn't quite genuine. I do think Hannah was important for him to realize that no matter how hard he tried or how much of an ideal candidate the girl was, he would never be able to move on from Brennan. But of course his male pride wouldn't allow him to admit Hannah was a mistake- so he was forced into asking her the one thing he had known she didn't want.

Great story! Just reread it and enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time around. Thanks so much for sharing!
