This was the most cutest end I ever saw! (without saying that it gives us hope for more LOL). Their kiss! What was that? I loved the way you describe it, the details, their feelings! It was adorable! Another lovely fic.

Eek! Happy endings are never never a bad thing especially when it's for a pairing like this. Though I am slightly- well, very- disappointed that this is the end and that the AUAU of Ruth and Tim cannot go on infinitely. I am pleased, though, and impressed, that you kept them in-character and didn't let them go completely wild; I would have probably caved into temptation, knowing me. I have enjoyed this story so much, and can only beg that you haven't got bored of Ruth and Tim and might... want to write some more for them... Thank you so much for this! :)

Tim's a genius dealing with the bat that way, such a clever man asking for Ruth's assistence. I really hope they kiss now! That chapter's end deserves it!

KISS! KISS! KISS! They have to kiss! Otherwise every law of probability in the universe is wrong! I especially enjoyed Tim's masterful handling of the bat, and was very glad that he gave Ruth his jacket- as a proper gentleman would.

"Stand between my arms," Tim suggested. "That might make it easier." I can only imagine the look on Ruth's face when he said that, not to mention the way her heart probably fell out of the floor of her stomach.

I can't wait for the next chapter, please don't keep us in suspense for too long.

AND HE'S THERE! And he noticed she's shivering! He could warm her, couldn't he? ok ok, I want too much too soon, but there's nothing I can do about it.

I loved the way he reacted to her nightgown! The way they thought about each other is so lovely, really.

Eeek! I absolutely love his reaction to her in the nightdress, though it's almost a shame that he's going to have to deal with the bat. I hope he will be a suitable gentleman and give her his jacket to stop her shivering, unless he has a better way to stop her being cold... No, that would probably go a bit OoC. But then again slight OoCs are what fanfic is for. Sorry, I'm rambling.

I get so happy every time I see an update about this fic; I think I'm starting to forget that Tim wasn't actually in the film, because he IS canon now, and I am shipping him and Ruth LIKE MAD. :) Can't wait for the next.

I'm torn between feeling guilty about inventing this nightie because Ruth's so embarrassed to be found wearing- having had vaguely similar experiences myself- it and being exceptionally glad that I did because it's fairly hilarious and I can't wait to find out Tim's opinion of it. Very Tim to be so concerned about Ruth, and to be very glad to find her ringing him up in the middle of the night. Absolutely dying to find out what happens next.

I just read both chapter at once!

First of all, I TOTALLY understand Ruth's fear! I run of my bedroom for small animals, imagine a bat! After that I'll stop with my habit of sleep with my window open, because Tim wont be able to save me too *sigh*

I laught a lot with the first chapter, especially with Ruth's talking with Ollie and that imagine of Frank shooting at the bat and at the ceiling was hilarious.

I can't wait for the third chapter! Tim's a gentlemen, going rescue her at that time, and I loved Ruth's impression that she's acting like a pathetic single women calling to a men in the middle of the night and waiting for him in her nightgown. But we know she's not that kind of women and I REALLY hope Tim notice that and the nightgown.

I cannot WAIT for Tim to see her "cream-coloured, figure hugging, far-too-sexy-for-any-woman-of-her-age-to-be-wearing nightie." I have a feeling he will disagree with that last bit. lol

Another beautiful addition to the Ruth/Timothy library! I laughed out loud about diving under the covers to hide from the bat. And then had to sympathize because it would have been my lot to have left my blanket behind as well! Can't wait to see what happens when Timothy shows up to rescue her. I think perhaps he should 'sleep over'...just in case...there could possibly be a whole colony of bats hiding in her rafters...I'm just sayin'... ;-)

I had a little black cat named Smudge who my landlord used to call 'The Mole Whisperer' because she could find...and would dig out...the moles in the yard of the apartment complex. Smudge would then bring them home as a present and sit by the back screendoor as if to say 'Mommy, Look! I brought you a present!' She managed to get three of them into the house over the years! LOL! So I could definitely emphathize with Ruth's frustration with Ollie 'in the moment'...LOL!

I'm sorry I didn't review last night, fanfic was being difficult and wouldn't let me read the story! Thankfully I could in the end. I felt very sorry for Ruth, but it was also very funny- particularly the mental image of Frank shooting a hole in the roof of Maple Cottage (I have borrowed the reference to his shotgun for the new chapter of Love Realised because I laughed so much). I'm definitely looking forward to what is going to happen when Tim gets there, especially once he's dealt with the bat! :) Can't wait for more.
