I really loved this story. I'm happy you didn't go with the other ending you had in mind. I'm a sucker for happy endings and if you killed everyone off, it wouldn't be preferable. All in all, I really loved the story, though. Honestly, it's one of the better ones ;D

ah. For authenticity's sake I'd just like to say, in Chinese, we says (name of person) Goong Zhu in this case Katara GongZhu unlike in the Western world where you would say Princess Katara. Just saying to make the story more authentic!

Well I'll admit I'm kinda dissapointed the defeat of Ozai was so... simple. But damn you really sent the message of 'eternal love' out there. At first I wasn't gonna read the original ending, but I gave in and I'll tell you it made me cry. Really good writing and this was definitely something different and had many things I was not expecting.

Ps: my only complaint is that I didnt like the fact that zuko slapped Katara a few times inthe beginning. .. I mean even in his worst days (aka ponytail days), I felt he had a sense of respect; especially towards women... ahhh i dont know he just seems like the type that would respect a woman no matter what.
But regardless, great story!

Quick question about thus chapter... at the beginning when Zuko is "Talking to the moon"... was this inspired by Bruno Mars' song? Because I started fangirling so hard when I read it lol
If it's not, then I don't care because I'll still relate it to Bruno's song whoops

Mai, that Bitch! If only she was dead. But at least it gives your story interst, but I was already interested before. Now that Mais in the story... I want to see what happens to her. Man, I'm so excited yet, I feel so mad, I dislike Mai with a burnjng pasion.
Anyways, the story so far is really good.

This is quite simply THE most amazing Aavatar fanfic I've ever read! You've managed to write a story where the characters act in a believable way and also managed to present a Zutara scenario that was both plausible and nice to read. I particularly liked how you managed to give Azula a backstory to make her more sympathetic and also your spelling, grammar, and vocab were top-notch and much better than most authors on this site.
Overall an excellent story. Btw, I've started reading the sequel, and I hope you update soon
