The story is pretty short, and I am not familiar with the movie at all - I think it's well-enough written, although it is really just dialog in the main.

I think the most reasonable interpretation that can be made is the same as another reviewer; namely that young children do not understand marriage and act in very odd ways. Certainly, young children could do that - although one has to wonder why Odin would act the way he does. So far as I know, this opinion towards homosexuality isn't shared by the Asgardians.

That's not to say it couldn't be - it seems like it wouldn't, given the Vikings' opinion of it and the fact the Asgardians informed the culture of those people. But, to make the story "work" I think it would need to be a wider exploration of that - rather than just a throw away thing. Really, what you have here is "What is Thor and Loki had some homosexual feelings when they were children?" And the answer to that is "Well, then they'd be like a lot of kids who are confused but eventually settle into heterosexuality" . . . and I don't *think* that is what you want to go for here.

Hey, I would never have known English weren't your first language! This is cute, though adopted or not Loki is Thor's brother so it's a bit squicky to me. It's double creepy since Thor wants to genocide Loki's people. Different societies have different customs, I guess.

I actually think you should continue this. It has great story potential! Of course its great as a oneshot as well. Your choice. But I enjoyed it greatly. :)

you know, I had a similiar idea (but before reading your story, trust me!) , but mine is a little longer and it's about the exact moment when little!Loki found out the truth.

anyway, yeah, the part of the movie when they're kids is one of my favourite, they're just so cute!
