This is indeed a slow burn. But I love the details. I would like to know more about Selene or Michael as well, heavy focus is of course on Eve as she is the main character. But to break it up a little does help keep a flow going.

I can't wait until Selene is free. I want to see how that will go down!

I'm so excited for her to learn more about her mother. This is a nice paced, slow burn read. And when done well, is good! And this is a great read!

I wonder how she comes to get the name Eve? Is it something that Lida has given her secretly, i'm curious to know.
And how did she know the word? That pokes questions as well, and wouldn't she be punished for assuming she taught her that herself? A danger that poses on Lida.

You write so wonderfully direct and still descriptive - my personal preference. Not a whole lot of useless information.

I'm really looking forward to reading more. And I'm planning to get back into writing on FFN, though for a whole new world and my interest be tickled by one of my old favorite classics from when I was a child. I was in love with Selene and her world. So its good to see others writing for the this community.
