Awww! I really like the ending. It's a nice touch

This was good, heartwarming story. :) And I really appreciate that you based it off of real historical events in Italy. No one seems to do that in fanfictions much anymore, so thank you and nice job!

I really liked the beginning half of this, until it turned to the delivery scene. There you needed to do a bit more of show rather than tell. You pretty much rushed through the whole thing, saying "this happened", then "this happened", etc. I think you should have actually written out the delivery scene if you wanted to include that part in here. And also when Spain said "You really care about your people, don't you?". Romano was just passing out food, not really dying for them. It's supposed to be natural for a nation to prioritize their people, so I thought his comment was kind of stupid.

Can't help but think there's something cruel about the way they treated each other.

Damn, Spain, can't you tell after centuries that all the 'chigi' and 'bastardo' are terms of affection? That's a little OOC for me, but hell, it doesn't do much to the overall perfection of this piece and thank you for writing it.

I loved it! I loves how it was historically accurate and it had lots of Spain and Romano! Great job!
