Oh my goodness, from start to finish, this one shot, had a funny, romantic feel to it. I simply adored how clueless Shikamaru was at the beginning, brushing off any chances he might have with Temari. Coming to his own conclusions and effectively registering the fact that Tsunade played him was simply brilliant and definitely made me smile.

I rather enjoyed Temari's dominant advances. Oh my goodness, to know she "trained for the night" was simply hilarious. (Watch out Shikamaru!) One last look at Shikamaru's realization and his new goals as husband and eventually father, made for a very romantic and touching end. Thanks for sharing!

Nice work with this fic! Especially liked that it was a simple but infinitely effective strategy that even the expert was unable to see through. Though I'd hardly imagine Temari would ever be this open with her expressions, and that Shikamaru would be so unwitting and earlier, lewd, given their experience at war, it's believable.

Though arranged marriages are not new to this pairing or the Naruto-verse, this's the first fic I've read with this arrangement.
