And I'm terribly glad Becca faked her funeral...now the team can go after the baddies with her secure, at least for the time being, from her desperate granddad! Would like if you decide to expand this.

Very nicely done. The characters are extremely well written and the imagery is particularly effective. I love that you manage to capture the distance and the remembrance between Lucy and Emerson; it really speaks about the changes in them as time has gone on.

Some of my favourite lines:

"There's a moment when their silence seems to say more than any of their attempts at normal conversation." - how very true for them. I always find that those little moments of silence between them speaks a thousand more words than they could say then.

"They pool there like desperate little things on the brink of committing suicide down her cheeks." - wow, that is an incredibly powerful image.

The ending caught me by surprise (albeit a pleasant one), and I'm wondering how and why, but I guess that that will be explained in later chapters if you choose to continue.

I really hope that you continue this fic; you've got a great opneing chapter and you've shown that you have a great handle on these characters :)

Wait, what happened? I thought Rebecca had a funeral. Did she flatline, get declared dead, then they saved her with silver blood or something? Even then, faking her death seems unnecessary and she's useless to them if she can't go out anymore.

That was great! Though I'm a bit confused about lack of surprise on the appearance of risen-from-the-dead Rebecca (Hm, you think, that's why Hauser let Lucy go at the funeral without protection? Because it wasn't real? :)) Other than that, did I mention great? Loved both the dialogue and Hauser thoughts. And how it all turned out. Lucy was right, after all that's already happened, there are no problems they can't deal with. Oh, and I somehow doubt Hauser will have any luck with reassigning anyone. All four of them know, he is too human for that:)

Awesome! The way you wrote this I could see everything playing out in front of me. I hope you continue this. Is Rebecca really dead? You mention her funeral and then at the end she's happy about Lucy and Hauser and he's thinking that Doc must know. Please write more!

This was amazing! I like stories like these, where there's not much dialogue - unfortunately, I can't seem to get a hang of this. I really hope you continue, as much as I hope Alcatraz gets renewed. :) This fic is going on alert now.
