Aw, this was awesome! Love how you wove the meta of Dean realizing the depths of Sam's strength through the fic, and tied it up at the end with concluding retrieving Sam's soul had been the right thing to do, in spite of everything.

This was an awesome tag to 'The Born Again Identity'. I agree, Sam's soul is totally awesome and belongs in his body. I am so glad Dean had it put back! Sam has dealt with so many things, he has proven that old adage time and again. 'That which doesn't kill you, makes you stronger' certainly applies to Sam, and Dean too. I really enjoyed the way you showed Dean realize that Sam is an awesome, strong, caring little brother. Kudos on this story! :D

Nice, quick little story. it felt a little rushed and there was no mention of Castiel. But it was still nice to read it. :)

Great tag, you gave us what the show didn't :) Loved too that you had Marin say goodbye to Sam, nice closure for both of them. You got Dean's relief perfectly that Sam no longer had Lucifer in his head as I think too that had Sam given up Dean would have too, feeling he had nothing left to live for. And can so imagine Dean continuing driving, not wanting to wake his little brother up, even to get a motel room.

This is one of the best missing scenes I've read for the ep; you don't dismiss Cas's sacrifice but have (as I would expect), Dean's dizzying relief that Sam's better, and even throw in a little resolution with Marin! Good points, nicely done.

I've read some different tags to this episode, but yours gave us a new version of Dean and Sam leaving the hospital.

I love the thoughts from Dean about how scared he was over almost losing Sam and how proud he was of his little brother for continuing to fight.
