Oh, this was just the right amount of lovely. I've shipped Noel and Serah ever since the trailers began, and playing the game was just heaven for me, but this fic was just beyond all that. I love the way you describe things, the little details you put to show how close they are, the little nuances that don't seem important but end up to be what Noel ulitmately remembers. Good job!

As beautiful as this was (another favorite of mine), I wonder how this would have been a tragedy. Could you possibly add another chapter with your original idea of a tragedy?

Aaaaw, this oneshot is so cute! The thought of Serah wanting to make new memories for Noel is just sweet. Making me think of a song now lol.

Scene 2, you should have just made it a one-shot and called it ‘Noel nom nom’s ice cream.’ Because I just friggin loved that scene. Just how he learned to eat the ice cream and the way he ate it too (MUNCH lick lick lol) it just, you could’ve so imagined it. Even Mog with his face covered in chocolate like a little baby had me laughing out loud. Yes Noel! Eat like Mog! But I could always see Noel being that way about food, if almost innocent considering all his ever eaten is meat.

And poor sleepy Noel, being tortured into waking up by Serah (I’m curious, does Mog have one of those sleeping hats while he snoozes? o.o) but that sunrise scene, beauuuuuutiful. Just how he’d rather stare at her at the sun itself. And the details with eyes as well reminded me of that other chapter where it described Noels eyes. It’s like Serah is the day Noel is the night XD

Aaaaaw but I love that moment in the tent where Serah snuggled next to him as if she was able to tell he was upset after nearly losing her to behemoth. And then how not a word was said, I LOOOOOOVE IT. And Mog was sleeping again XD I LOVE THAT EVEN MOOORE! Plus Serah and Noel are so funny in a snowball fight, every moment of it was just hilarious. And it ended well too by how he said even though memories faded Serah was what made them so important.

Now if they could just hook up in FF13-3 it’ll make the world go round. great widdle fic!

I think my biggest response to this was: "Awwwwww"

This was so cute! Again, you are true to character when Serah proposes that she help make Noel some new memories (and I kind of half-expected her to say that, in the game, though she never did. I'll just add this story into my headcanon and then it all works out). I love the flashes from one activity to another where you slowly pushed more into their relationship (although I have to admit: I think the scene with the ice cream was my favorite). I know you can do tragedies very well, but I'm glad this didn't turn out to be one of them; this was just so sweet. Another lovely read from you!

Oh, by the way, I've heard that some more readers on here loved your "After Fall" story and I promised I would pass on the compliment. Your HopexLight stories are slowly winning over the fanfiction population, ha.

Thank you for this. I was really starting to get depressed with everyone uploading tragedy-fics lately. The game was dark enough all on it's own, ya know? Some parts even gave me nightmares! (I'm looking at you, Academia 400! You too, canon Ending!) It's hard to decide which of your vignettes is my favorite, because they're all good and they offer us that rare glimpse into the journey these two shared. You touched on points in each of them that I have entertained in my own imagination, like the familiarity that grows between two people when they've spent a lot of time together, Noel's lack of experience with fun and leisure due to being the last guy on earth in a post-apocalyptic future...(is it any wonder why we want to see him live happily ever after with Serah? He totally deserves it.) Every damn time I lost Serah during a big battle, I wondered how Noel felt seeing her go down. And the adorable snowball fight kiss was icing on the cake.

This was fantastic, and it made me smile so much while I was reading it that my cheeks now hurt. My favorite part was probably the second memory-where Serah gets hurt and Noel saves her. SDKFJSDKL:FGJ. My heart. The whole piece was absolutely wonderful, and I love it so much. You did a great job. (Oh, and I'm glad this had a happy ending! My shipper heart can't take too much more tragedy.)
