I really hope you continue this someday. The cliffhanger drives me on edge, especially since this Sookie is a badass detective.

Gah, I just came across your story and love it! I love how you took the original story line and tweaked it into something new! I also really enjoy how you wrote Sookie, she's badass and yet still true to character! I know it's been a few years since you last updated, but I'm going to favorite and keep an eye on it just in case! One of the best AU stories that I have ever read. I really like smart Sookie. And the sexual tension between Sookie and Eric is amazing.
Though I read a few of SVM books, I was always bothered by how uninspiring character CH's Sookie was. I mean come on, you are a telepath, do something cool or useful about it, not wallow in your self pity.
But your story is great from every aspect. I hope that you continue this story.

I hope you come back to this, I'm really enjoying it... plus it seems kind of mean to leave poor Sookie in jeopardy so long, hard on a girls nerves don't you think? If you do start it up again, please remember, CH's Sookie came out on top in her battle with the killer (Rene) and so did TB Sookie, though both took a beating in the process. YOUR Sookie is a cop. She has training in both self defense and going on the offense. I would hope the 'panic' stage you put her in is short lived and she acquits herself better and with less personal damage than either of the other two fictional Sookies.
In fact, how about putting a raging Eric at her door, unable to get in, while she's fighting for her life, then have her stomp Rene into a smear on the floor before letting a stunned Eric in.

Again, good story. It deserves an ending. After a whole bunch more long chapters, of course.

This is such a great story, I hope you continue it one day!
