Don't you dare go and hide in fear that this was a bad story. Quite on the contrary, I think it really is one of the best Doctor/River stories I've read (and I've read what is probably far too many of them...).

Just like a real episode: funny and quirky, then serious, then very sad, then quirky and funny again at the very end. :)
