I was really happy while reading this, however, I wondered why it was marked as angst. Then I read the ending. :(

Loved this one-shot very much, loved all the details of everything that they went through and how happy Dirk felt. And omg the ending where he realizes its just a dream is incredibly sad. Poor guy. :C

I just love this. Oh my god. when I saw it was a dream, I reread the whole thing and just...oh my god. I don't cry very often, but when I do, it's usually for something really freaking amazing.

That is the single sweetest thing I have ever read. Ever.

That was quite a piece of heartbreaking at the end. Poor Dirk. But I loved the relationship they held in the dream you painted it wonderfully along with the foreshadowing here and there was wonderful. The strong emotions were amazing and then to have it all crash with the meterior and then the dream...I feel conflicted but in a good way. Utterly wonderful work.
