I swear if the next chapter is titled 'the future' I'm gonna choke on my own laughter

First of all, oh my gosh you are back! It made me happy to know you still write Transformers! Second of all, I wanted to say this fanfic, your fanfic, was my gateway into the transformers franchise and I have loads of thanks to give to you for getting me into thr franchise. I read this fic everynow and then to get that good feels. And...I was slightly confused as to why it was so different then how I remembered until I saw at the end that you did edits. I wanted to ask if it possible if you could upload the 2nd older version as a separate fic?

You've made a lot of good changes with the edits, new details that I squee'd at with the characters, but I actually liked the older version (don't be mad). Maybe it's the fond memories. The writing back then may have had less detail then the newer one does, but the gaps in the older ones was what gave the readers time to fill in the gaps with their own imagination and interpretations in the scene. It was a good form of show don't tell.

I don't know. I am not a writer so what do I know. Anyways, thanks for the memories! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

But I also wanted to add how much I liked the ending this time (forgot to mention it earlier). The change from Prowl crashing into his discussion with Jazz about her reaction and behavior to the questions, and the whole scene with Bluestreak and Victoria were great additions/changes. Everything about that, from the subtle clues at Cybertronian sparks and how they’re created, to that small piece of Victoria’s past and the fact that she’s even talking about it so early, and also adding in the rest of the checkers games between the other mechs and the fact that the letter’s presence is at the front of Victoria’s mind this time around.

After this, I’m looking forward to what other changes you have planned for this fic, and A New Version of Reality.

Hi! I see you edited this chapter. Gotta admit, I liked some of the way it was before. (And it might sound weird how much I’ve reread your fics to the point I can actually tell what‘s been changed, but that’s because I really enjoy your work; it’s one of the very first TF fanfics I’ve ever read, plus one of my inspirations for writing my own Transformers-as-toys style story)... and I just realized that this is the first time I’m leaving a review... oops.

Anyway, when Prowl was going to say something after answering Vicky’s own question, and Jazz had warned him, “Do NOT go there, Prowl. You ask, and she’s gonna clam up faster than you ever have.” I know it wasn’t exactly those words, but I liked how serious Jazz’s tone was there and how his words showed the similarities between Prowl and Victoria and the closeness of him and Jazz. That’s the one thing in this chapter I kinda wish you hadn’t changed. (There are also a few bits of conversation and extra details you took out I miss, but maybe that’s just cause I’ve read the older version so much that I didn’t mind it.)

However, I am enjoying the subtle (and not so subtle considering Snow Days was completely rewritten) changes in dialogue and details. Like the NEVER OPEN AGAIN warning on one box and African ‘made in China’ masks in another. And how you slightly changed the conversation between Vicky and Rumble during the kitchen scene and some parts with Wheeljack in the shed. Because yeah, I noticed. I hope that doesn’t bother you or creep you out. I just...

This fic is an inspiration that got me into wanting to write Transformers stories in the first place. I started out wanting to write them as toys come to life, and while I haven’t gotten far with any of my ideas yet, I’m still working on it.

Sorry I’m rambling. Thank you for working to make the series better, and I’m still hoping to see you finally updating Rise and Drone Harder (because I read that series too!) And I hope your life is going well.

Your doing great with the character's personalities and the way they speak :). Usually in stories like this one, I can tell who the main character is shipped with (if there is a shipping). It's kind of hard with this story. It like that :).
