Omg such ingenious mesh up of the two booka characters! I read so many girl-falls-in-middle earth so I have been getting a bit bored. For once, it is refreshing to see a unique one like this. It was gripping and also not too long, giving a good short highlight of the major plots of the HG and convincingly bringing the ME warriors into the Arena. The fact that this expertly incorporated Sindarin earns my respect. I am saving it as my favourite! :)

However Aragorn and Legolas seemed very OC ish.

especially Legolas, that in his whole trip in the Middle Earth only receives a few scratches...and here he's barely conscious and that reminds me, elves are not supposed to sleep, or at least not as human needs, he might be sleepwalking and probably some people dont realize
both are very naive, they looks like children... they simply are so much ooc for me

Wow! What an amazing story! I definitely felt Legolas and Aragorn's anguish at the merciless slaughtering of mere children. Alas! I am so glad they found a way back to Fangorn and Middle Earth - and all was set back to the way it had been in the actual Hunger Games (not LOTR crossover) with the mutts and cornucopia.
A wonderful job, Mellon nîn! You ended the story beautifully with the tribute to all those who had died of fought in the Hunger Games. Hannon le!

In the original English, the word used was 'feast,' not 'festivity.' It carries a slightly different connotation, and one closer to the name of the Hunger Games - a festivity is a gala or party, a feast is a large meal, or banquet.
