Well, I'm not sure where you stand on this story any longer but I wanted to tell you what you did write was promising. There may be a few mistakes but overall, the grammar is good, the writing flows right, and I think I could have been hooked pretty easily if I hadn't noticed the story had been uncompleted for more than a year and that the last chapter was an AN (always a bad sign...) So I must say instead of making me sad, this AN of yours is actually giving me hope. You don't seem like someone to drop stories easily so I hope you give this one a chance to reach a real end.

To go back to the story, it was exatly what I wanted to read. The AU seems to suit them pretty good as you kept the dynamics (or well, it looks like you planned to) of the anime. I so wanted to see their meeting, see how they all would react, see if Shu would freak out, remember quickly or not, how he'd come to use his arm, how much Gai kept tabs on him and how much he'll show it to Shu. How Yashiro would react with our Shu and Gai meeting again, how important Inori will be to your story and so on...

So yeah, I hope you continue it, because to put it simply, for now, your story is the only one on this fandom/pairing that I deem worth the reading. But I can perfectly understand if you just don't have the motivation for it (though it would be a shame... well...) so I would never blame you for it.
Just, could you keep us updated on where you are once again please? Just to know if you changed your view after a year.

I hope one day you will share the rest of the story with us, and thank you deeply for already sharing what you wrote on it.

I just discovered GC trough a friend today and did a marathon of it. Gai and Shu should soooo end together. And Yahiro is too jealous for his own good. I hope you ll keep writing because i wiuld love to read a whole story of gai and shu s love story.
