damn. its different reading this story when I'm older. It almost hurts to read this story. But its amazing. Damn.

...usually I like to hold my tongue or in this case fingers and not leave a review before the reading of the latest or last chapter but after the previous one and this one...don't think I need to check the reviews or the stats to know this is going to be a favorite to reread from time to time.

Ah, yes, the fanfic that made me love the Wrecker fam.

While this does contain the BEST Wheeljack/Miko interactions I have seen, I think it could have been better if it were a third of its length, especially since it isn't as good when it focuses on things that aren't Wheeljack/Miko interaction. Not bad, just... not as good. I personally think that the final fight against Dreadwing would have made a perfect finale, and that the story could have skipped right to the ending. (I also think the shipping moments are a bit 'meh', but that might be just cuz I ship Cliffjumper/Arcee XD).
The aforementioned interactions are invariably great; they're either bittersweet (the ending in particular, in the best of ways!), cute or hilarious (the aftermath of The Sleepover deserves a special mention), and always spot-on when it comes to characterization.

Definitely worth a reread.

That was sweet of Wheeljack.

The old "I'm fine :)" tactic only works for a while and then it inevitably explodes into screaming matches. Miko's and Wheeljack's worked out better than most though, s'all good.

Ah, Wheeljack. You remind me of my brother. So quick to blame literally everybody but yourself.

Me, circa five minutes ago: Well, this looks cute, and well written, and I love Miko and Wheeljack and want some fics of them together, and it's looooong which I love in a fic. As long as it's not too sad, I'll be fine.

Me, now, literally having to walk away from my phone to blow my nose because I'm crying so hard: u h o h

Oh, I loved Wheeljack dealing with those bullies. So much satisfaction there.

I love your characterization of everyone. Especially Bulkhead and Miko. I especially love this take on Miko, though her grief really is heartbreaking.
