I know it's been years and you probably won't even see this, but I'd be absolutely thrilled if you still had the last chapter of this squirreled away somewhere and felt like posting it I don't read fanfiction much anymore but this story always resonated with and moved me, and I'd love to see how it ends. Great story! All of the characters were portrayed well. The dialogue was clean and realistic. The prose was good—way better than most of the stuff on here; and the romance . . . Man, oh, man . . . It had me in the feels! No story has made me feel this way in a long time. You know, the way you worded Itachi’s feelings, it hurt because everything he was feeling . . . I’ve gone through it, I know how it feels, too. Anyways (I don’t want to get all depressing on you), this story has left me inspired. Very, very inspired—to write a story, a romance, of my own. I’m a dude, but f*ck, this was so good. Itachi and Temari might be my main character’s, eh? Haha. Look, I just wanna say: Thank you for writing this! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m gonna go pick up the shattered pieces of my heart now, ha . . . Good day!

Also...I hope you are ignoring all of the nasty ungrateful reviewers. I agree with the person who says this is actually a perfect open-ended ending, but even if it wasn't, it was a gift to read what you had to share and always will be. I'm always, ALWAYS amazed by the time that fanfic writers invest in ANY amount of writing, in addition to living their lives and dealing with real life obligations. And it's so hurtful to see when people take that for granted and feel entitled to someone else's time. Even though the idea of a next chapter is incredibly attractive, I think this chapter serves well as a happy open ending to a new and promised possibility.
