To be honest, almost all the other Cato fanfics I've read go much further into the plot, wiht the rebellion and all, but I think you ended it at the perfect place. The concept that their world is flawed, and always will be, is much more realistic than a perfect utopia afterwards. I loved the twist with how the capital decided to test her and Cato's love with the rule. It was something original (as far as I know), and the canon divergence with Peeta, Rue and Clove kept me on my toes! I also loved that their relationship didn't turn into a 'loveydovey, everything will be fine' situation, and that instead of Katniss convincing Cato to 'become a better person', Cato is proving that Katniss was just like him. Bringing back memories of the bloodbath was especially effective, as it was something which I had been pondering at the time of reading it, but now that I've finished, her reaction made a lot of sense. Overall, I loved your fic so much! Thank you for feeding my Cato fix hehehe |

Also, maybe think about introducting an M rating in the next story (if you decide to do one that is), it would show their relationship has grown and that they are comfortable with eachother, as well as showing that they are growing up x |
