Here, Here, I absolutely do agree with you. Timothy is also my favourite character on the show.

I too have been most frustrated at how poorly Timothy is treated so I wrote an AU fic that gets Gibbs, Tony and Abby all out of NCIS and Tim finally gets his own team with Ziva as his SFA.

I lost track of the show a few seasons back but this reminded me why i loved it! I think its time for me to catch up again :)

ok, so the story MIGHT have been a little mushy, but you know what, I think we all need a little mush sometimes :p Besides, honestly, the characters were not really out of character, not for the situation. When McGee shot that cop, Tony was completely there for them. And how can we forget that elevator scene when Mike Franks died. As heartbreaking as his death was, I loved that scene so much. I definitely agree with you though, sometimes I just wish McGee would get a little more attention on the show. There are moments, and sometimes we get really awesome scenes, but for the most part, it kind of feels like McGee gets ignored or forgotten about until they suddenly need him for something. And the thing is, really, it isn't THAT bad. I've come across a few stories where it starts out with Gibbs and Tony being just total and complete jerks to McGee in an almost hateful and cruel way, and those stories I always stop reading because that is just so far out of character for them. Sure, there are both things that they've said or done on the show that I don't agree with, but it just gets taken to the extreme sometimes. Now, if its meant to be taken AU, or there is more to the story than what we are getting at the moment, I can deal with it, but when its meant to be canon, it just annoys me because as much as I love McGee and would love to seem him get recognized a little more, and get to seem him consistently be depicted as an equal part of the "family" I still love Tony and Gibbs. And now I've realized I'm rambling, sorry :p Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I think you did a fantastic job with this story. I'm always a sucker for hurt McGee stories just because there is a lack of them compared to hurt Tony stories. Is it kind of sadistic of me that I'm kind of hoping that of everyone that of all of the team, I'm kind of hoping that McGee was injured the most in the finale just so we can see the team really rally around him for once? Anyway, I'm rambling again, so I'm just going to stop myself with this final comment, GREAT JOB :D

What a great story! Fantastic the way it focused on Tim and how everyone sees just what he means to all of them. Just leaves me with a warm glow. Not too mushy either.
