I adore this story! I originally found it way back in 2015 and enjoyed it immensely back then. It's such a unique concept and you write it so well! Even though you say it's inconsistent I feel like you do an excellent job of pulling off that historical fiction feel and giving each character unique voices that fit in with the setting.

I know you said you had no idea where this is going, and it's been forever, so perhaps you feel done with this. But if not, I would LOVE to read some more. Please consider writing more if you have the chance; I'd be delighted!

Hey there darlin! I know that you don't post that much on this site anymore, but I wanted to take the time to tell you I really love Phantom Lullaby. It's been in my bookmarks and on my follow list since 2013. When you updated in 2014 (me being a cute little 14 yo) I nearabouts died, thinking you had abandoned it and it was a lost cause. I still love the fic and the concept to this day. I've read most of your other Danny & Vlad works multiple times over, and I'm in love with your writing. I would be so delighted if you ever came back to write more for Phantom Lullaby.

I love the mystery around Vlad, and how, knowing the characters from the show so well, of course he and the ghoul from the graveyard are the same, but there also are points where we must doubt such. I really love the subplot that seems to be going on with Walker and Spectra, and I'd love to see more of that play out. The 'ghosts' in the story as Vlad's servants really seems like a great way to bring them into it, and I love watching Danny interact with them!

I really hope that the writing you're doing now, for other fandoms makes you as happy as it seemed you were way back when. I saw in your bio that you're in college, so I wish you the best of luck, I know how hard that can be.

What is Vlad's mystery? Was his beloved Danny's mother and if so why he doesn't recognize his surname?

Aw man, this story is so wonderfully written! I hope one day it gets picked back up again. I haven't come across any other Victorian age stories of Danny phantom, which makes this story all the more interesting. If you don't plan on finishing the story, is it possible for you to post a vague conclusion? Either way, I'm bound to reread the present chapters anyway because it's just that good.

Really enjoyed this! It's well written and is nicely in keeping with the times. The way you wrote the existing characters into the story is very clever as well. I can't wait to see who the tutor is!
It'a nice to see someone make something so incredibly creative and I hope eventually there will be more! It'd be such a shame if it didn't continue, because there's such a great mystery here!

I fear that Danny will try and commit suicide again - but greatly believe that Vlad (despite his cold attitude) save him. Hopefully Vlad comes to love him and Danny won't have to continue crying in his pillow at night due to nightmares (that are mysterious and another one of the things boys his age shouldn't be having, like thoughts of suicide - though in Turning Fork and Phantasma I like the idea that he would almost commit suicide, but then find out that someone cares for him )

And I would very much like this story to be happy, and that Mr. Collins (who had probably adopted Dash as a substitute), Walker and especially Spectra will get their just desserts.

This is the first father/son fic for these two that was set in this age. It's really interesting. I'm also curious/suspicious as to Vlad being connected to his dreams... If those really WERE dreams... I'm hanging on it not being dreams. Is Vlad going to turn Danny into whatever he is as well? And the family relationship seems quite lonely back then.. It's kinda sad. But yeah, I've really enjoyed reading what you've put up so far. I hope you haven't abandoned it completely. :] Thank you for taking the time and energy to write and share what you DO have here, though. *-)
