Another good story. Good work.

Oh, gosh, poor Shepard. Poor Kaidan. But aside from the anguish, I do like how you handled the ending. It's how I was planning on doing it in my own headcanon, because, dammit, you just can't trust Reapers.

Very nice. I like how you show the real consequences of the ending that was presented in the game, as least more closely than most people do, heh. You didn't completely rewrite everything, but still made it work very well. It kills me that they lost some of the team, but it's also much more realistic. I really like the psychological damage you deal with here regarding Shepard. So often she is portrayed as a steel soldier which nothing can touch or sometimes on the other hand, too weepy for a commanding officer to realistically be. :P However I think you have painted a very even picture of her here. We can see her strength, and yet are shown that even she isn't invincible. Well done! Bravo! I like this little story very much!

Ohhhhh I do adore this fic! I love seeing Kaidan take the leading role, and becoming the protector, being there for her. She's been through so much, its wonderful to see her being looked after like that. And the last part... hot damn, that was utter perfection. You nailed it with this! Definitely one of my absolute fav shenko fics. TOP WORK! Loved it!

I am not a huge FemShep/Kaidan shipper in game, but I always like stories involving him for some reason. You've done a lovely job her trying to make something better (or give some sense to) of the ending(s) that we were given. I'd like to think that Shepard at least gets SOMETHING good in the end, even if that's only some quality time with people that he/she loves. The PTSD is pretty realistic too, from my limited knowledge of the subject.

That was a wonderful story! I didnt care for how bioware chose to end ME3, but I believe they will continue the story with some DLC. Its always darkest before the dawn, as they say.

Anyway, thank you for writing such a lovely story! I hope this isnt just a one-shot!

Beautiful! As much as it pains me, I love seeing Shepard broken down and raw because it makes her/him so much more human. No one could possibly go through what Shepard did and come out alright. That is part of why I loved those beautifully haunting dream sequences in ME3. They made her seem so real to me and I could connect with her pain. :)

Anyway, I'm rambling. You did a wonderful job here. I hope this isn't just a one shot!
