The battle was done very well. I believe showing perspectives from both sides was the correct decision, allowing us to experience both the terror of those caught in the Confederacy's trap and still get the stand-up-and-cheer moments like the bombing run. Plus, it lets us see both the side of Britania that Cornelia regrets having to destroy and the part that Lelouch is right to want to burn to the ground. It paints a vivid, grey morality picture that is perfect for Code Geass.

Good story. Really liking where its going. The interactions between Lelouch and Cornelia are of particular interest to me as Cornelia gets more and more worried about Lelouch's mental state. Really hope she figures out a way to do something about it that doesn't destroy his trust in her.

As for the battle in this latest chapter, Chapter 9 The War Begins as of this date, Code Geass has always shown us both sides of most battles as Lelouch pulls out surprises on his latest enemy, and I feel your handling shows that quite well.

The biggest weakness to this story so far, is you don't have a Suzaku type character yet, someone to act as the face for the enemy group throughout the war for the reader to get behind. From what you've shown so far, I would suggest Nonette, as she is Cornelia's friend, and thus would have similar views to Cornelia to contrast her nicely in how they go about things. That's just my opinion though.

I do hope you continue this story again soon.

Well, this is a review that's long overdue. First of all, this is excellent. There's just no other word for it. The character development, the occasional comedy, everything is triple A content. I binge read this story a few months back and I can't help but say thank you for writing such an amazing re-write of CG. I love how Cornelia has a wider role here and not only that, but Euphemia will most likely not die in the horrible way she did and weigh on Lelouch's conscience for the rest of his life.
This story inspired me to try and make my own attempt at a CG re-write, which I would've never had the confidence to make.
Even though I love this story and would like to see it continued, I also enjoy your other content *ahem, Fairy without Wings, ahem* and do not want to deter you from working on stories that you have motivation to write. Anyway, this truly is one of the best CG fics that I've read. (Wish I was capable to support you on your pa treon)
