Holy shit that was awesome! I loved your whole “giving them the childhood they never had” thing. Neither really had their dads in the picture, and both had to grow up too fast. Reid had to grow up to take care of his mother, and Emily might as well have been born being an adult. Reid couldn’t 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 ever be vulnerable, because he had to stay strong for his mom, and Emily was taught that not being 100% all the time was shameful. The parts with Emily’s mom, where she didn’t take care of her daughter or hug her after having been gone for weeks, that made me cry. Our raven haired beauty deserves better than that. It was incredible getting to watch them grow up again. Great writing.

This entire story was so freaking cute! I was so mad at the Ambassador because how could you do that to your own daughter? But I'm glad JJ made Emily see she was loved. Hotch as well, in Reid's case. I loved Reid's friendship with Jack. I always thought Jack would love Reid the same way Henry did. I'm going to miss kiddified Emily and Reid so much but I'm glad they're adults again!

This was such a great read I love the idea so much well done brilliant writing. I know this is old but an epilogue would be amazing.
