This is a good story. It's funny that Carla wore black. Things looked rocky for the happy couple, but things worked out for them in the end.

Sam and Diane are together again! Hurray!

I guess self improvement is not everyone's cup of tea. Carla seems to like Sam better the way he was before.

I like the dialogue in this chapter. It really sounds like Sam and Rebecca talking.

Ah ha! So there is still hope for Sam and Diane to get back together. They just have to get over their nervousness and go for it.

I like the humor in this chapter. It balances out the drama perfectly.

It takes a lot of courage to be a recovering alcoholic.

It must take a lot of self discipline to stay away from booze. Alcoholics have to fight it every day.

I loved this so much. I always found it a bit strange that Sam wasn't very involved in AA during the series. This is very well-thought out and I like that Sam finally comes to terms with the fact that he needs to change.

I really loved this story, and how Sam was gradually able to recover with his program, and how that led him eventually to reconnect with Diane. I was kind of worried in the beginning of chapter 8 that they would never get together, but I'm so glad you did such a great job writing their happy ending with the wedding! I love that Woody was the best man, and Sam forgot his vows... everything about it was sweet! Great job!

What a wonderful way to end this story. The wedding was perfect and I always love weddings of any kind! I could just picture this beautiful ceremony and I'm so glad that Sam picked Woody to be his best man! Absolutely perfect ending!

What a touching apology Sam made to Rebecca. So heartfelt and sincere. I hope he does finish his program so that he can find his way back to Diane.

This is such a wonderfully-written tale. (There are a few quibbles about some issues with continuity-as far as Sam's and Diane's appearances on "Frasier" are concerned, and the lines about how they and their friends are. Still-the story is so well-written, it makes those issues pale. If this is AU-WHAT an AU!)

The wedding at the very end-wow. Just...wow. So beautifully romantic-and true to character, too. Well done.
