OMG this is the best fan fiction of POTO I ever read, it makes me feel so real and I especially love Erik in it. I read a lot POTO fan fiction last few month and unfortunately most of them just don't regonize the dark side of him. Somehow I don't like the explanation of self defense of Joseph's death very much. English is not my mother language so please forgive me for any weird sentences :).

Really beautiful an ending or twist I wishes to See happen Ing in Poto. Really good I hope there is a sequel to it were they are married and all what will still happenIng because of Raoul and that plit of his that would be great.

Torture. That's what Erik said. Well, here I am at the end of your beautifully written, believable, and compelling story and I am left tortured wanting more. I thirst to see more of their relationship develop through your lens as an author. It's so difficult to find PoTO fiction that is tailored to that time, and have an understanding of the characters without throwing them through the usual tropes.

I read your other story "Stay By My Side" prior to this one. I devoured that one, and upon learning of this one, I cannot commend you enough at your writing skills. I'll review your other story as well, but this story is just as special and stand alone in your handling of the characters and plot ideas.
Bravo is not enough! Thank you for writing this and sharing it!

This story is too good for any review I can write, but I'll give it a try anyway. Too many stories here are too dramatic, Christine is made too forgiving of Erik's crimes, or he simply haven't done anything bad. Your story was a breath of fresh air when I was about to give up on finding any more good PotO stories (that I haven't already read, that is) - it's simply perfect in every way and I can easily believe every word I read. The ending left me feeling very happy, yet wanting much, much more. Now I kind of feel like I should thank you for sharing such an amazing story with us all
