Reviews for Not a Sword
Elwaith chapter 2 . 7/6/2017
I love Donna here! No way she's going to let the Doctor do anything like that.

Ohh
4195832325 chapter 6 . 8/27/2013
Yay for Donna!

It's Riley?!

What?
4195832325 chapter 2 . 8/27/2013
"What, magic's real?" Donna asked. She turned to the Doctor. "You going to take me to Hogwarts next?"

"Oh, my God, you've read that?" Dawn asked. She looked over at Buffy. "See? I told you they weren't books for babies."

"Are you kidding me?" Donna said. "I loved them. Oh, and that bit where Sirius Black—"

LOL. And uh-oh, Dawn's the key!
4195832325 chapter 1 . 8/27/2013
""So if it doesn't look like a sword and doesn't act like a sword, then what about it makes it a bloody sword in the first place?" Donna demanded.

"Ah," said the Doctor. "It's… actually… not a sword. At all. Just a segment.""

LOL
AnitaHoward chapter 2 . 8/15/2013
Wow, this could really actually be an episode of Doctor Who (if the Tenth Doctor and Donna were still around). So... is Dawn sort of a Horcrux? Yipes, that's awful.
Chris Widger chapter 9 . 5/19/2012
Another brilliant story, definitely only improved by the magnificent Donna Noble. I'm really interested, at this point, in whether the Doctor actually understands as much as he thinks he does. Because this whole series seems to be trapped within a number of stable time loops, predetermined or already occurred (from one or both's perspective). There's a lot of 'destiny' and 'fate' going on here. And while it's possibly that yes, the Doctor is brilliant and he's worked it all out and he can't do anything other than what he's doing, I have to wonder how interesting it would be if he'd actually gotten it wrong. If he was carrying out the actions that led to a point he thought was inevitable even if it wasn't. You can probably tell I have my issues with the RTD era/10 in general, and some have cropped up in your stories. Mostly with the Doctor deciding what and what not Buffy and her friends should know, even if it puts them in danger to remain ignorant, even if it's risking himself. The Doctor has secrets, and the Doctor lies. But by tantalizing with the truth, I'm not sure he's doing himself many favors.
Chris Widger chapter 6 . 5/19/2012
Gods but Donna is a glorious creature. It really felt like she was the only one who could really make the Doctor get off his the-universe-is-in-my-hands God complex sometimes. Here's hoping she does it again, as your Dawn is as charming as she is bratty.
x Death by Torchwood x chapter 9 . 5/11/2012
Oh, that was terrible. And amazing.

Terrible because it was the angstiest story I've ever read. Amazing because, as usual, it was very well written, and I happen to love angst. Especially Doctor-angst. T-T Doctor. . .

But what's gonna happen now? Isn't the universe gonna end because Dawn's still alive? If this actually is going to work, then why was he trying to kill her in the first place?

Are my questions going to stop anytime soon? Will I ever get the answers I desire?

. . .

No, seriously, will I? D:
Shaybo27 chapter 9 . 3/22/2012
I liked this story :) I also love Donna-and her and the Buffy gang just make me laugh at the mere thought of it. Great job on this story, I'll be waiting for the next one ;p
Shaybo27 chapter 8 . 3/22/2012
Yay! :) Doctor's finally seen sense...
KatZenSPN chapter 7 . 3/22/2012
Your stories are some of my favorites on this site, altogether. Your characterizations are spot-on and your plots are exciting and tightly-woven. You write the Doctor (and 10 is my Doctor, so this is saying something) better than anyone else. Thank you!
oceanlover4evr chapter 7 . 3/21/2012
The Mystery of the X's. I have a feeling that it's not a demon, but that's just a hunch.

Ooh, nice reference back to your Avatar crossover.
