Kankuro was really acting like a big brother to Gaara. This chapter was full of emotions.

This story is amazing! Sure there were grammatical errors and spelling mistakes here and there, but overall, it was interesting. I've started shipping Ino with Gaara...thanks to this story! Again, it was amazing.

As much as I liked this first half, I have to say that the last two chapters were a little too neatly tied up. I would have liked if there was more action and build up for the sub plot of someone casting a genjutsu on Matsuri and trying to control the village. Without that the last two chapters seem a bit too rushed and anti climactic. There wasn't really anything throughout the story with the exception of the barely described attack by the cloud nin in the beginning of your story. IMO, this part should have been built up more because it would have made the story a lot more suspenseful and intriguing.

I do look forward to reading the sequel to this though.

It didn't offend me. I haven't gone through the loss either, but I have friends who have. I have a friend who's had eleven miscarriages. Yes, you read right, eleven. I don't know what else to add. I'm enjoying the first person perspective, I just wish at times there were some signs of how other characters were interacting.

I just wish you'd covered Shikamaru's reaction to the pregnancy. That would have added some extra action to this.

After the stuff I've been reading the past few days, this is a welcome relief. I found your sequel and decided to take your advice by reading this story first. Three chapters in and I'm not disappointed, great job.
