You make Zuko less competent than he is just to make Azula look better - it's not only annoying but also bad writing. Stop it.

Awesome work so far! I love to read this fic before bed, just warms me up (lol). I'm interested to see where you take the story, 1 week doesn't leave you a lot of breathing room to make a plan for Azula and Zuko to follow, so its really cool you to see you set this limit on yourself. I don't want to disturb the plan you have so far (hyped for the white lotus being introduced) but if you're taking suggestions for plans, then maybe the siblings taking on some underground Earth Kingdom gambling shenanigans would be fun. Another idea I thought up, what if the fire siblings got a dowry, as in: find a desperate noble, shotgun wedding, run off with the cash. like the gambling plot, the characters could get into the folds of the worldbuilding directly, also it would be pretty funny to see Azula make fun of Zuko almost marrying an earth kingdom peasant. Again, I dont mean to step into your story plan, just if you were in a rut :) but it seems like you've got this covered lol. Keep on moving forward! and thanks for writing this!

I just finished binge reading your story. Man, what a ride. Every minute of reading had me encapsulated in your world, your storytelling moving my imagination in vividness I did not imagine I could have.

I am glad this story is still going strong. At this point in the story, is Azula becoming aware of the growing conflict between her fondness for her brother and his destined demise by HER hands? I felt that she was obviously protective of Zuko during the fight with June, but how does that play along with the fact that all that happened so far was her doing?

Also, is Zuko even remotely aware that Azula "tattle-tailed" on him to their father about the Avatar still being alive? Even if he figured that Ozai found that out himself before Azula told him, what was Zuko doing at the day of the eclipse? Surely, he knew that was coming.

This is a true gem among ATLA fanfiction. It's almost shockingly good. In my humble opinion, Azula's character is one of the most understated and important things in the show. I absolutely love how this piece develops Azula, similar to how well Zuko's character arc was executed in the show, giving her meaning, the way it should've been if Book Four ever saw light. The amount of detail put into Azula's gradual mental shift is astounding, something I'd never even dreamed to see in a fanfic, but here we are. The way this shift happens is very believable and just exactly how I'd imagine it to be. Zuko's is just Zuko here, shows how well the fic understands the show and its characters. Aaron Ehasz would be proud. I recommend this story to every fan of the show, regardless of your opinion on its particular characters. I sincerely hope to get the privilege of reading this fic's finale one day. Thank you.

Ahh this is awesome! Glad to see Zuko being the emotional pillar of support which I know he can be for Azula. Hopefully his influence starts rubbing off on her some more! Also it's great yet heartbreaking seeing how touch starved both of them are. Neither of them are used to showing or receiving such positive physical signs of affections because of their family situation. But this also makes those small moments of comfort so special for both of them.

Oooh, curious to see what their plan will be moving forward. More blue spirit adventures? Or maybe they join an underground fight club? Or hit the Earth Kingdom casinos :D. no but really, eager for more!

zucest yesss

I m crazy about this story :)
I am always a supporter of gradual development, and here we see how Zuko and Azula work together, solve problems with money, food, I must say that it is very exciting.
I do not know if you plan to zucest (I hope so)
I want to say that you should never abandon this fascinating story and update more often, perhaps. everyone is at home now because of the pandemic, and I think this is a great chance for the authors to release a sequel, huh
about the last chapter. I also only think of prostitution as the most desperate measure. but I do not know if it is conceived who will decide first, Zuko or Azula to put forward this proposal. Zuko is much more burnt in survival than the Azula, which, apart from the chic airships and the palace, did not see much of life. perhaps Zuko will sacrifice himself in this regard.
on the other hand, azula is much more adventurous, and she could decide to step forward in their competition and bring more coins. but it would have been a triumphant fall of the princess into the mud, and I would have been looking forward to how zuko comforted her after that.
although prostitution is not necessarily sexual intercourse itself. I read one German book, and there the girl only jerked off. so if azula does something, it won’t go beyond that (and then fry the client, yes).

Honestly can't wait for more, i really like your take on both characters and seeing them struggling together in what is basicaly a combinaison of the classic 'life changing trip' and Zuko's exile is really cool, it's not often you see Azula portrayed as not in control too so it's pretty original.

Not gonna lie (unlike Azula), i original found this fic (when it was like 10 chapters long i think) while searching for Zucest stories and i still have no idea if this is a zucest story or not but i like the story so i'll read it either way (still zucest would be nice XD).

Zucest isn't doing so well , but struggle is great character development. They are the dream team for a reason , they can do anything.

Again I dislike the showrunners approach to morality but then again let's say it was a kids show.
