Reviews for The Occam's razor Job
Linda-Nairika chapter 21 . 4/3
I was going to leave a review after the final chapter, but I can't help dropping some words right here: this is one of the most involving texts I have ever read. It's also excruciating, hilarious and heart-wrenching. Thank you for sharing!
CathieJohnson chapter 24 . 6/1/2019
Alec Hardison's dialogue at the end of this chapter is riveting. It embodies te character of all the players in this story. Very well done. I won't forget it soon.

Okay... I'm gonna need a minute to get all my thoughts down here. I literally spent the past five days reading this story and I've been hooked and my god is this a monster of a story. Freakin' kudos!
(Lots of spoilers for anyone simply reading reviews first)
First of all.. English isn't your native language? Seriously?! Your vocabulary and voice is impeccable! (Also kudos go to your beta for helping!)
And jeesh-you have such an amazing-AMAZING-sense of psychology. Amazing. The way you handled all of their emotions, all of the character relationships, the triple lying, their reasoning for everything they did, how they felt-was amazing. Amazing. I especially loved Hardison's speech-literally made me cry. Also Parker's reasoning for why they shouldn't be upset that Eliot shot her. So true. I also love how you explain what Eliot was feeling especially in the end, fighting his demons and then Nate realizing Eliot was truly only in a war with himself. Your grasp on people-not just these characters, but people and psychology in general-is amazing. I'm pretty sure YOU could be a grifter. Haha :)
But again, your grasp on these specific characters was amazing too! But definitely my favorite character has got to be George hahahahaha holy crap, when Nate grabbed Eliot and was like "who is George and why do we need to save him?!" I literally laughed so hard-that's possibly the funniest thing I've ever heard!
And as a writer myself, I also wanted to say that you really, really inspire me. I've never written anything this long or dived this deep into a complicated story like this, but you make me feel like if you could do it, I'm sure i can :) I think one of the best things as a writer is to inspire other writers, and I just wanted you to know that you seriously made me get up and go write because I was so taken and impressed by this. Thank you very much for writing this and all the hard work you put into this. You're crazy, but in the best way!
Also, I can't tell you enough how glad I am that there's a sequel to this! I was sooooo hoping we'd see more after this happened, and get some more hurt/comfort too so yaaaay! Literally off to read the next one once I post this review.
Thank you again and amazing job :)

This was awesome.
Cathie Johnson chapter 8 . 10/22/2017
This story grabs your mind and won't let go. I don;t know how to do a proper review. I can only give you what I think and feel. I have wanted this story since the first time I saw the trailer a few months ago. I only got a computer in April, so I am very new at this. It is a satisfying book. So enjoying reading it. Thank you for this.

I am most likely going to finish this in a few hours. But Hardisons speech expressed my entire life relationships, damaged animal rescue, crae kray friends, PTSD and TBi's all, even with my ex. Yes you may be a fuck up, weasel, broken sociopaths. But your are MY fuck up, weasel sociopaths.
And nobody messes with what is mine.

This is one of my favorite fan-fictions of all time. I just started watching Leverage on Netflix - only beginning season 2, but when I came across this story I couldn't stop reading. Your plot is riveting and the character development is wonderful and entertaining. Thank you for writing this; I can't wait to read more!

Thank you for this. I enjoyed reading it. I appreciate the time you put into the story.
Athaia chapter 1 . 5/26/2017
This was a great setup that made me interested in the plot - great tension right in the first scene. Things I especially liked:
The foreshadowing right at the beginning, a promise which was kept only a few paragraphs further down when Eliot called and the almost immediate onset of action - or rather, the promise of action - again, with Eliot’s call.
How the team worked out that Eliot was hiding something, and the hint that there was „history“ between them and Eliot; that they didn’t completely trust him. That was a nice complication for a team in a line of work that actually makes it necessary for its members to trust each other, and is in itself a nice setup for later complications in the character relationships
The clever dialogue, and how the team deduced what was really going on (not Eliot’s betrayal, but Eliot being in trouble) from the things he didn’t say.
Presenting intriguing questions, such as - how did a gravely injured Eliot manage to get his tracking device into a car? What’s going on all over the city (when Bonnano gets his calls)?
And it ended with the promise of further action in the hospital, when all those groups competing, opposiing, or otherwise stacked against each other meet up there - with a knocked out Eliot in the middle, and a hit put out on his comrades.
The tension was high throughout, the pacing was fast; there are a few unclear passages, but nothing major. Nate and Eliot are the most distinct characters for now, but I guess it’s difficult to present such a big team in a way that sets everyone apart from the others in a beginning scene.
All in all, this chapter worked fabulously as a hook and definitely makes me want to read on.
Guest chapter 36 . 3/14/2017

Guest chapter 1 . 2/10/2017
Must be like my 5th read and still that opening line is just awesome, blaming everything on Sophie's broken nail! :o)
