I was wrong. This is the perfect way to end it. You made my lazy Sunday so much better with your story. I'm late to the Dasey fandom but I've been reading a lot of their ffs in the last few weeks and this one is my favorite. Thank you for staying with it and always coming back. So many stories are left unfinished and I'm so happy that you finished this one. Now I'm off to eat turkey with my family who think there's something wrong with me cause I've been holed up in my room since early this morning reading this. I don't regret a single moment :)

Derek buying them a house was such a beautiful moment. That was his very loud I love you to Casey and I'm so happy she heard it and finally said it back. This has been an amazing ride and I've loved every word you wrote.

Nora and George are a little too late with realizing that they shouldn't have made Dasey break up years ago. Loved Derek in that last scene with Casey. He's not giving up.

I'm not sure what it's going to take for Casey to give in to what she feels for Derek and give them a chance. Anyone can see Derek is all in. I mean he's basically told her he wants to live with her but she's still running scared.

Things are looking up for Casey in this chapter at least career wise but not so much for poor Derek. If Dasey would just listen to Marti they'd be married already living their happily ever after.

Showing your evil side again in this chapter and it's breaking my heart. Derek's right. Casey has no passion for her job, it's like she gave up on her dreams and she's ready to run from her feelings for him. Again :(

That would be a beautiful ending but I'm happy it's not. Call me selfish but I'm enjoying this story way too much for it to be over yet...or ever.

Casey wants to know what they're doing and Derek just wants them to stay in the moment. It seems like they're not on the same page yet but I love that they both admitted they missed each other. That was a huge step for them.

WOW! That was all things steamy and hot. I loved the Dasey scene on the dance floor. Both of them dancing with other people but they only had eyes for each other. Bodies touching, jealous quips being exchanged and then finally leaving their dance partners and giving into to each other. This chapter was flawless.

Dasey are playing jealousy chicken and I'm pretty sure no one ever really wins that game. "Samantha's not that bad, right?" Lol. Your evil side is showing again ending the chapter like that. I hope there's something Dasey friendly in the next chapter that will make me forgive you.
