Absolutely fantastic work throughout! Her argument to the Reapers, the emotions you evoked throughout, showing the species working together (and noting that this was not an utopian time and that they still had work to do), all of it was masterfully done!

You appear to be a great writer. However, I disagree with the definition of CU. Critics United, though you will no doubt not believe it, are mostly polite in their reviews. I highly disagree with them, but there are many polite critics in CU. LU flames more, but there are still polite critics there. Hell, even Eliminator has a lot of polite critics. The true cyber bullies tend to be solo troll/flamers like a troll who got kicked out of Eliminator who reviewed my stories. These reviews contained threats of injury and severe profanity. The troll Flamer also sent a death threat. That's way worse than any group active on this site.

This is an open response to any CU critic coming here to "constructively criticize" this story. I LOVE anne whynne's fan fiction. It is like eating the best most delicious cupcake you've ever eaten, not realizing that you ever really desired something so very much. The fact that Critics United has so blatantly targeted her is not only appalling but deeply disgusting. She's brilliant and thoughtful and beyond that, an INCREDIBLE writer. I don't know her personally, but her writing is what led me to become a member of this site to begin with. Fanfiction is not some elitist club. It is "fan fiction" which is driven by so much love for a character or story that you feel called to invest yourself in that universe for a while longer. Also, I'll say it because this author is far more eloquent and thoughtful than I intend to be. Screw Critics United. You guys make other authors and creatives look bad. Like it's your inherent right to police others for something CREATIVE. Where do you get off? God forbid I had a group of people like you while I was in high school or college breathing down my neck as I got my degree in creative writing. The world is hard enough, and so difficult as it stands. Why do you insist on berating something that is so close to a person's heart that they felt the need to invest themselves in that world? Uch- critics united disgusts me.

Anne, when you read this... Know I adore your writing. You are AMAZING. You have sewn up some holes in my own soul with incandescent writing and heart. Don't let some dirt bags (with such low self esteem that feel the need to fuel their own egos with organized bullying) get you down.

i'm sure you've heard thousands of people trying to proclaim bioware's innocence in the case of ME3's ending. you might be pleased to note that i am not one of such fans. i didn't hate the ending they gave us, but i stick by that bioware is not god, and can give us crap from time to time (doesn't ANYONE remember DA2?)

i must admit, i liked your ending very much. and i do wonder if maybe you could make an ending for my shepard? if you don't want to let me know. it won't make me sad; people have their own lives to live, afterall. but if you did make a fic for my shepard, you'd make this little fan very happy, since i didn't really like how rather disrespectfully my shepard died. but like i said, i liked what you did here. it felt like what bioware SHOULD HAVE done instead of what they gave us.

now, mind you if you do take on my shepard, i am doing my second playthrough of all 3 games again, and my first shepard, while i loved her very much, is not truly MY character in the stricktest sense of the word. so if you are interested in makeing an end for my shep, then you'll have to go off what i'm going to do with her instead of what i've already done with her.

i suppose it would be rather hard to ask you to make a unique ending for my shepard...but that's how the cookie crumbles...

but i've rambled long enough about something you may or may not do, so i will end on i enjoyed your fic very much, and if you happen to make more ME fics, i will look for them.

I haven't read your stories before this one on a chance, but if I may be so bold as to suggest: I found, this morning, a brand new site called that looks to become what has tried to be, but the people in charge have become smart enough to include an MA category, and seem to be more lenient towards we, the authors. Again, just a suggestion. But seeing the quality of writing you have, it would be a shame to not continue your work somewhere else, where you know it will be appreciated for what it is.

I'm usually a very shy reviewer, but I just wanted to tell you that I very much enjoyed both Gestalt and Ad Infinitum, and sad to see you go; I also understand and agree with your reasons.

I hope to see you post your fanfics somewhere else... or here, if TPTB stop being silly.
