Toraach chapter 1 . 12/4/2014 Good story :) Dwarvish brandy, :) |
MoonLitIsle chapter 1 . 7/21/2013 Once again great story! I love your idea of Aragorn being his father. |
yosa chapter 1 . 1/3/2013 This was lovely, but what struck me most (the aspect that most surprised me and that I found enjoying enormously) was the idea of a strong friendship between Arwen and Faramir. The relationship was obviously complicated by some things, but I like the idea of the two of them taking on social reform and being good friends. They really fit together in those roles and it adds depth to the way you write the characters. Nice job and I hope that you finish those other stories soon! |
Thrae Elddim chapter 1 . 11/25/2012 Aw, so cute. It sounds exactly like something that would happen, if I correctly perceived Ecthelion and Finduilas' characters from the appendixes. Wonderful piece! |
IceAngel7 chapter 1 . 5/13/2012 Thank you :) a lovely tale with great characterisation and plenty of endeering humour. Greatly enjoyed reading it, and looking forward to reading more of this paricular AU _ Thanks again |
shine lots chapter 1 . 5/7/2012 how clever. you literally were shouting 'he's aragorn's' through the entire piece. the idea that sharing intimacies whilst drunk is a father-son bonding experience, the allergies, the guards, the matter of heirship, oh lol. well done indeed |
Mikkalea Luna chapter 1 . 4/7/2012 Hi, I am slowly getting through all of your stories :-) And I completely enjoyed this one! It was light-hearted and at times funny (with will-be-father Aragorn, who doesn't see anything wrong with getting his teenage son drunk before a difficult conversation; constantly scheming Elven twins; and embarassed Faramir, because no one should have to think about their parents having sex...:-D By the way, he was embarassed just talking about it with Aragorn. How embarassed must he be after he realises that Aragorn was in fact the one having sex with his mother?...) I especially loved the scene, where everyone slowly realises who Faramirs father is ... until only Faramir and Eowyn remain ignorant. (The King and the elves drank solemnly. Eowyn's mouth dropped open, and Faramir nearly dropped his drink in shock, but both drank when Aragorn scolded lightly. "Drink, children. It is not everyday a man learns that he will soon be a father twice over.") I can just see it in my mind :-D Your characters are very loveable and seem completely believable to me. If they were real people, I would want to get to know them better... Finally, if I understand your Author' note right, this story is an AU story to your other story. Does that mean that Faramir isn't Aragorns son in B&E (I thought there were hints...) or does he just not tell anyone of his parentage in it? Mikkalea |
blueoctober chapter 1 . 4/4/2012 Really liked your story. Especially liked the part where Aragorn got Faramir drunk and where everyone but Faramir and Eowyn realized Faramir was Aragorn's son. Will be looking forward to see what you write in the future. Keep up the great work and take care! |
gginsc chapter 1 . 3/11/2012 Great story! I just love the relationship between Aragorn and Faramir! |
