I just remembered this fic and read it from chapter 7 on - and I was half-hoping you had already finished it until now. But no luck there... of course it stops in the middle of a bloody tense situation! Don't do that to me!
Well, I'll just have to wait for the next chapter I'm afraid...
Good story by the way. Maybe a bit too (melo)dramatic for me, maybe a tiny little bit too much abuse. I like hurt and comfort, but I like it better when it doesn't hurt that much.
But I very much hope you'll at least delight your readers with a fluffy happy ending.
